He was begging for it with his calculated, humiliating press conference yesterday.  Perhaps he botched the end of that game to get home for the holidays on purpose.  Have a hard time believing someone is really that stupid.  We’ll never know.  But a comeback win over the Lions buys him enough rope to end the season as a lame duck. 

His post game sounded like what a politician would say when they have no answer to a simple question.

I’m glad they let him stay on long enough so that my Lions ML which was tied to several parlays covered! But you gotta admit, his coaching alone was must see TV! More entertaining than the games. Which gives me an idea.

Each week the  NFL, instead of having stupid London game to increase ratings, should make one team put a “guest celebrity coach” on the sidelines and have them coach the game. It would be awesome! I’d pay to see that. 

This clown will never coach in the NFL again. Only thing worse then the clock management was his press conference saying they did it the right way. What is wrong with this idiot. Take responsibility for being a total loser 

It’s a nepotism, good ole boy league.  He’ll be a DC or position coach soon.  If Brandon Staley can get another DC job immediately, there’s hope for everyone.

I just heard a stat that said in the last 30 years there have been 1500 scenarios like the bears had yesterday inside the opponent's 30 yd line and all of those times the team either ended the game by calling a timeout or setting up for a field goal and the bears are the only team that ended the game having done neither. have to admit thats hard to believe if true.

I cannot disagree. The bet would be even better if the Niners somehow beat the Bills.

 If the Niners win, then that +6 line re opens +6.5 or even 7. And yes that's he ultimate grab right there.

But if we learned anything from a warm weather team playing in cold conditions(Miami@GB), is there any chance the Niners give the Bills a game at Orchard Park?

Regardless I think the Niners come back to San Fran relatively exhausted. 

Apparently head coaches' salaries are guaranteed, Eberflus is signed thru 2026 at 6 million per year. Is the same person who hired him, hiring the next Bears' head coach?

No way the contract is guaranteed; there are out clauses all over the thing.  ME likely gets paid out the remainder of the year and next season compensation is dependent on if he gets an NFL or not.

It is absolutely guaranteed.  But you are right in a sense, if he gets another job next year, say for DC at 2 mil that amount will come of the 6 million per year.  He could sit on his couch for 2 years and collect the 6 million.  

The weather evens things out for tough teams like the Niners, as talent becomes less of a factor. They are not afraid of weather. Remember all the wins they have won in GB during the playoffs? They just need to get the run game going and they will have a shot.
