Cowboy backers should be happy enough. They are clearly the better team and they got their bonehead mistakes out of the way early and it didn't derail them.

Dallas is very obviously going to not just win this game but will win the division. No other NFC East team has an efficient offense. Dallas just beat the Chargers who just beat the AFC champs, and pushed the NFC champs to the brink.

That said, the NFC top tier is the Rams Bucs and GB and anyone else is a dark horse.

mccarthy just likes to make it easy on himself and not have to make coaching decisions by not calling any timeouts and letting the first half run out.
