Well, Let's hope we can keep this going. There are a couple things that point to Indy, including that Indy is 8-2 on MNF and 7-1 as MNF faves over 2 pts and Indy is 6-2 as an AF with revenge. BUT... there is a lot pointing towards Jax as well. Home team 8-3 in the series. I also have two MNF systems, one 74% the last 10 years, the other 73% that favor the Jags. But one of the most simple and profitable systems I have used over 20 years is take a home dog that is better running the ball and stopping the run than their opponent. An old-timer years ago told me "You won't go broke taking home dogs." and he has been right. We may not win tonight but Jags +3 is the play.
On the Over/Under, over the last 5 years the #has gone over in Jax. There a couple of trends that point to. After Jacksonville has a high scoring game that goes OVEr they usually come back with an under.
TAKE JAGS +3 and UNDER 45

I just wonder how relevant the running offensive/running defense trend would be here. I understand how that would be very important in most cases, but most cases don't have one of the best QB's of all time on the opposing side. He makes up for a disadvantage in running game. ||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>

I like both plays equally tonight. As for taking the HD with the better run unit/stop unit I have found that it works best in the NFL where there is greater parity than in the NCAA, no doubt about that. But looking back at the Louisville/Uconn game (and possibly USF/Rutgers, I can't remember): Surprise! there it is again. That said, I am much more cautious in NCAA where a passing game can negate the edge or where the competition (Uconn going into the game) can skew the #s... Back to the NFL and tonight's game - in particular I think there is huge value in the Jags and this basic system is valid. One of my other systems has to do with taking a MNF dog off a 200+ rushing performance (Jags). Again I won't ever say any game is a mortal lock and any system is flawless; based on my posts on the games yesterday (and tonight) I look for value based on several factors... "but you won't go broke betting on home dogs...."

Thanks Nicky,
Yeah, although I was on the Giants last week, I couldn't bet on the Birds fast enough when that line first came out 9.5 against the Saints... I was sure Joey was gonna throw a pick for a TD. Anyway, all worked out. Payton now 1-8 ATS at home as Saints coach and my Under-7-wins-for-season on the Falcons is looking good.
Good luck tonight as well!

My book never released a season O/U on Falcons once Vick was gone.....was going push all in on under whatever the total was. Best of luck to you tonight.||Peace_5.gif' border=0>
