I read this in an article. I want to know what you think:
"Jacksonville doesn’t seem equipped to cover anyone.
Having already placed starting cornerbacks Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox on IR, the Jaguars lost backup Will Middleton (knee) on Saturday. That means rookie Kevin Rutland likely will make his first start against the Chargers. Ashton Youboty, signed off the street on Nov. 15, will make his second start on the opposite side.
The Jaguars also will be without defensive ends Matt Roth (concussion) and Aaron Kampman (hamstring). Defensive tackle Terrance Knighton (ankle) is questionable after missing the last three games."
With Floyd coming back, that should add to the Charger's attack ten fold.
This info may be valid, however I can assure you Vegas line setters have taken this info into account in determining the opening line set @ -1/. Currently @ -3 all the while SD is being backed @ a 74% clip.
My opinion is........the line is begging for Charger $$ & most that do back the Chargers will think this is the slam drunk of the week in the NFL........

Based on what everyone is saying on here it basically means that all of you truly believe that either the NFL is fixed by Vegas and/or Vegas is truly that good at setting lines that they always know who will win and by how much. Nobody is that good and just because they set a line that smells fishy doesn't mean they can't be wrong. Everyone always makes excuses as to why a certain team won or why the team everyone bet on didn't win and make it out to be like Vegas knew it would happen so they could make money.lol Vegas is pretty good at guessing outcomes by the lines they set, but the reason SD is only -3 is because of what JAX did last time on Monday night and because SD has lost 6 in a row. How much would you expect a team on a 6 game losing streak to be favored by in the NFL on the road against even the worst team? Not very much and the line is just about what it should be since nobody knows if SD is still thinking they can win their division and come to play, or if they have given up. I say since a win gets them within 2 games of the division that they have to think they can still win out and win the division considering the remaining schedules for OAK and DEN. Both will lose at least 2 of their last 4 games.

Bad, you are on the wrong side here. San Diego not trying is still going to put up 20 on this ragtag Jaguar defense. The Jaguars on the other side of the ball will run run run
San Diego in a rout to try and feel good about themselves.
