Monday Night Football Week 11 - Chiefs @ Patriots

New England -14.5 (-110) 1 unit
 
It's a lot of points in an NFL game and I am not an advocate of laying DD in the NFL, which is why I am only putting 1 unit on this game.
 
Patriots ever since their loss to Buffalo have struggled. They struggled vs Buff, Dallas, Giants and even played a tight game vs the Jets in the first meet in the fox. This is right about the time the Pats will start to tighten up the screws on defense, as we saw last Sunday night.
 
Chiefs had their little run. They struggled a couple early, then beat the chargers on MNF, won in Oakland, Todd Haley grew his little beard. Ya great. Nice story, now back to reality.
 
Bottom line is guys, don't overthink this one. This is Part 2 for the NFL QB showcase. NFL debuted Rogers last monday night and now it's Brady's turn.
 
I bought this opener at Bookmaker but I would lay any number available. This one should not be close.

does anybody have a record for the pats when they are favored by more then 14 points?

 

from what I can remember it is not that good?

Chief's D isn't bad at all, and it's the Patriots inconsistency on offense that worries me. Under has hit in the last 6 of 7 for Chiefs, and the last 4 of 5 for the Patriots. The Under definitely works in the Chiefs favor. Plus, I think the Chiefs will do what the Eagles did tonight. They'll rally around a backup QB, and allow the skilled players to do the work. Dwayne Bowe, Steve Breaston, and Jonathan Baldwin (Pitt Chemistry perhaps??) will make plays for Palko. They'll keep the ball on the ground, and I think Jackie Battle will have a good game. This kid's a downhill runner, and if he gets his carries, he'll be a big factor in this game. 

Spread's up to 17.5 now, so I couldn't pass it up. If it goes any higher I'm definitely going to double up. Chiefs lose, by not by much. 

That's just my take, but hopefully we can middle

don't have the record, one thing I have tracked with NE is for the last 9 seasons they have split ATS W/L following their games vs Jets. Dating all the way back since 2002. They are 0-1 so far this season.

I didn't make myplay based on this, just some extra info

just don't see it that way my man. Chiefs have not shown me they have what it takes to go into foxboro.

I look at each NFL team as their own market. And with any market there are highs and lows. Pats are 1-4 ats and before the win over the Jets 0-3 ats. Pats are about to be on the rise and the easier part of theri schedule shows this as well.

We see this differently, one of us will win. Good Luck

I just think it's too tall a task since Cassel is out for this one. I liked what I saw out of the Pats defense last week and I don't see how KC will be able to exploit any of the Pats weaknesses. I see a 31-10, 38-13 type of game.

i have a 2 unit 3 team 10 point teaser wth the Pats at -4.5 last game on the teaser ......

 

I was thinking of taking KC with the 17 points to try and Middle    and if you know about middleing it usually never works out , so I am starting to lean Pats

all those points must be pretty tempting to take  have a feeling Vegas might be trying to inflate the points knowing this is going to be a 20+ point win

 

Live betting might bring some nice value if KC can get lucky at the start ?

Patriots are 2-12 ATS as a double digit favorite. I still like the Pats.............

ya know it's always difficult to try and play linesmaker and see which way they are leaning. Sometimes books like greek and pinnacle take sides in big games, so I could see what you are saying. Ya it does look tempting to back KC cause you will be able to get 17.5 maybe even 18  by kickoff. I mean look over New England's last 5 games, including 2 su losses. The last DD Pats victory before last weeks win over the Jets (which is the start of the Pats market rising, imo) was their win over the Raiders on October 2nd.

Either way, I made my stand on Pats in this one. We will see if I am right.

I could see a 34-9 score. I don't see the Chiefs putting up much yardage, let alone points in this one.

I remember it well, shocked most bettors. That same score tomorrow night wouldn't surprise me. NE winning though.

i bet for years and know lines good and i seen 17 points a few times on NFL Teams ,they never cover them ,KC is not that Bad. they cover big line on monday night last week ,don't think i ever seen a back to back big line ever. the Rams had a big line like 12 and covered it and seen the radiers back a few years the line was 17 and they played a good game ,most lines are to scare you to think a blow out is coming most lines that don't show blow out is the ones that do. lot of dogs won outright in college and pro so there thinking the favs are due ,not so !!!!  I will be on KC

I hit a 5 team line this week in college on dogs and all 5 won outright ! Baylor ,Virg,USC,K-ST.,Tenn

and a 3 team with Vir, Baylor and pro game Tampa bay +14

I don't give points ,shit if i lose then your really going to have to beat me bad....lol

taking favs are good teams yes but you got to win the game first then cover the dog just play a good game and bank it !

as you can see i love Bama but damn that line is 21' fuck that not giving AU that many , we got to win first not cover, will watch this one for fun. I'll find a dog and BANK IT !
