Now back to FOOTBALL--
This is a sad time for me, every year around this time, I feel like the end is near LOL. I LOVE football like my family.
To close off the year I might make a 15-20 unit play.
While I give NE a better system and coaching advantage, I do not see how their running or passing attack will put them in a winning situation come Super Bowl #49.
Maxwell and Sherman can and will shut down Edelman and LaFell, those 2 receivers are good, but not SPECIAL. Amendola will have to be SPECIAL on SB day to off set any advantage by NE' WRs, and BRADY will have to throw him the ball.
GRONK is a winner regardless who the matchup is, but lets keep it real and admit Kam Chancellor will be more than able to guard him, or if SEA is smart just put one of their many speedy LBs on him and have Earl or Kam over the top, and HIT him HARD when he does make the catch. GRONK one on one might have an advantage BUT if its two on one, might not be a big enough advantage to make a difference, lets also keep in mind, due to the fact NE WRs are not that special, they have play man not be too worry about the deep ball and focus in on GRONK.
Lets be real this SEA's D can be ran on, but not by the likes of Blount and Vereen, one is too big and slow while the other is too small. Not saying NE is not going to have a good running day but I doubt their running game will be a deciding factor on who wins the game.
Brady and their O line is one of the best this year, but by the back four providing enough time for their front four to be a bug, we all know how Brady gets once he assumes there are phantom pass rushers, Yes Sea's pass rush haven't bent he same, but again when you dont have the your mind on a RB that can kills you on the ground those pass rush lines opens up.
Now on to the flip side of things.
SEA have no one even worth mentioning at their WR position, to me its a weaker group then NE's WR but I will give this as an edge to SEA. WHY? Because NE's strength this year is their back four or mainly their CBs. With no one special to cover all game, not knowing where the ball is going too, to be honest not even sure if the ball will be pass over 25 times this game, the NE CB's will be a non factor this game, except when things break down and Wilson is out of the pocket we can all expect Browner to lose his man.
TE's have played well for SEA all year, making big catches after big catches, but this edge I will have no choice but to give to NE, their LBs can cover. Enough said.
Beast Mode is something else. No body can stop him when he dont want to be stop, if NE's D have a weakness, its their RUN D, major advantage SEA, along with Wilson's QB option, MAJOR advantage SEA.
QB and Oline might be a wash, Wilson will not play maybe EVER as bad as he did in his last game, C jones can be a freak, Wilfork is no joke, but from having BEAST MODE on their mind to defending Wilson roll out or QB options, I wonder how much pass rush they will be able to muster. Only reason I say it might be a wash is cause of NE's LBs, they have some very good ones.
I haven't made any bets, although in my mind its SEA or NO play, but these aren't bias opinions of mine, these are facts, I do not see a blow out, but I see SEA slowly but surely just beating NE up on all three side of the ball.
Any given Sunday any team can beat any team, we have all seen this in our years enjoying this sport, but only way I see NE wining this game is playing close to 90% perfect football. While Sea can just be themselves.
Not easy for me to drop 15-20 units on any game, going to need some time help, so I will post as bets go in, I would love to have SEA -1 or -2 for even juice or + money.
Welcome all the FOOTBALL discussions !
