Save your stuffing this Thanksgiving and stuff all you got in.............yep, you got it SEA -3 at MIA.  Seattle off a bye and have something to prove: winning on the road.  And who else is better for them to destroy and create momentum?  SEA dominate at home but loss 3 close games on the road this year (all under 6 pts).  They won't let MIA get close in this one trust me.  They still look to win the division so they can have that one playoff game at home.  This is the game they must/should win both on paper and team talents wise.  They want to to make sure they have another "W" before they go into Chicago next week, which I marked as a loss beginning of the season. But now, it's still a coin toss.  

Another angle why I like SEA -3 is that AWAY FAVORITES after A BYE is like 80% ATS the past few years.  See how GB cover last week????

I don't know how I feel about them traveling to the east coast and having an early game also not sure how I feel about Seahawks playing on the road. Miami does look pretty bad though

Miami is in disarray right now. Seattle off a bye. I do think they win. Not sure if it is a play for me yet. Too early.

seahawks i was just wondering  where you got your info from as far as away favorites off the bye hitting at 80% ? .. i remember reading that away favs off the bye were covering ATS  at less than 50%    ..  BOL

I forgot who posted this.  I don't follow trend much but when it is a good one like this, I take notes.  Here is the post from last year:

Well Week 7 had a couple trends that I decided to follow. Personally, I only like to follow Trends that're either UNDEFEATED, or an Overwhelming Win-Loss Record; Something like 25-1, 65-2, etc...

This past week saw a couple of solid Trends floating around this forum.

-The First being; Teams Coming out of their BYE Week who are now FAVORed, are 67-31 ATS since 2005.

-The Second being; Teams coming out of their BYE Week who are now FAVORed on the ROAD, are 11-0-1 since 2005.

only thing i will say is that the buffalo game is a tough measure for miami, they were clearly affected by the combination of cold & short week.  i would expect them to play much better this week on both sides of the ball.  Under & phins teased

I'm riding this with you. I'm a die hard Seahawks fan. Tannahill has not been playing well at all. He's played like shit the past 3 games. Seahawks defense going to run them over

Yes, of course I am a HAWKS fan.  However, I don't pick them every week.  Only certain games.

Yes, that's what all public pay attention too.  Plus SEA haven't been doing too well on the road right?  1-4.  LOOK CLOSELY, those 4 losses have been close.  SEA could have gone 4-1 instead if they pull it out.  Well, that was then.  When Russell is still getting the feel for the NFL.  Last game at DET, he was great but the defense fail in the 4th QTR.  You think they will make the same mistake?  NO WAY!  They have their eye on the playoff and perhap even the division.  They will not let this game slip away.  MY BIGGEST  BET THIS SEASON!!!

I don't understand why people make up bullshit stats like this.  I just picked a random team. The Steelers. I went back 1 year and found an instance where they were road favorites off their bye week and guess what? They didn't cover.  And don't tell me it's straight up because we all know damn well, straight up wins mean shit in our business.

seattle making that  longass trip...playing earlier, spening the night in south beach....miami may not b good,but they arent bad...their my team, but im real w ya...we only have 2 losses by more than 4pts and sea and miami are actually pretty damn comparable talent wise minus a cpl spots...no home support but miami better away from the cold and at home regardless...this will be a close game..and i treat it as any other close game and take the points @ home

Dude, take it for what it's worth.  That's is only ONE of the angle I like about this game.  And I didn't come up with that stats.  I found it here on Covers and it is true.  

And JacksonJackson, I don't care if it's back door or flat out win.  A WIN IS A WIN!  At the end of the day, only a W count.  No need to know how. I cashed in on GB so I am letting you all know again.  SEA is an EZ cover this week that's all.  Like it then pick.  If not, your problem!
