You guys seem to post a lot on NFL games. Have anyone seen the "value" in betting on NCAA football games. Just sayin'. I used to bet on NFL games earlier this season but got burned once too many times so I stick to college football. The NFL is way too unpredictable this season. For instance, the GB vs Jags games last weekend. GB should have beaten the crap out of the Jags, but didn't cover. Detroit kicked the shit out of the Jags yesterday, which is something I had anticipated. not bragging or nothing, but I've won enough money betting on college football games to buy me a brand new BMW 3-series coupe....and my wife doesn't know about the whole betting thang either. If she was with the program, we'd be at a BMW dealership picking out the color of my new ride. But she doesn't, and I'll just have to stash to money away slowly.

i won my biggest bet of the year tonight with the under...
If yall on over, blame on stupid vick. 4th quarter and all that time and down just a few, if you can't score, give up that ball to narleans and they will score for the over but noooo, they had to hug that ball to kill more time and by then, narleans decided that they stop playing ball because in the nfl, jacking up the point is a diss for the franchise, especially professional ball. I can't say for chicago with 51 points though.
I got my bankroll up again so see you guys next time...

the line is about right in my eyes. if in indy, line should be -6 right? Given that home team usually get 3 points anyways.
fishy line would be jag -3
offensively, indy is better than jag by 3 points. Indy has a slightly better defense than jag but not by that much.
I don't believe in the...if a beats b then a can beat c kind of theory.
maybe you right that the jags will win at home on primetime but have you take a look at the early line betters who are known as sharps? They bet early for a reason to capture the best line or to try to change line to bet at kickoff to middle things.
The game is not till a few days later from now and already, you seeing more bets on indy? If you like such figures, wait till game day to see how it goes. Maybe the real public will bet on game day instead?
I dunno. I'm still a student of this game. Teach me how to doogie.. everybody win, every everybody win...

@DruNkenTech193: I used to bet on every other game in small increments, and realized that if I bet on 10 games and win only 6....essentially I've only won 2 games b/c the 4 games I lost negated the 4 wins I won. Now, I only bet on 2 or 3 games on any given CFB games in any given week, but I go all in...like $5k a game wager, straight bet. I'll do some parlays (2 or 3 way) but can't put too much down on the parlay b/c they can be difficult to win at times. I follow all of the NFL and CFB news but that's only good for me to stay abreast of the weekly events.
There are so many opportunities in CFB to slay the books this season, I don't know why so many people in the thread not jump on it. For instance, read up on the QB situation on U. of Maryland -- that's all I'm going to say. If you have any clout, you should be able to make at least $6k off my Maryland tip for the remaining 3 weeks left in the season. There are at least 5 different teams (besides U. MD) in CFB that are on a free fall currently (and have been on a free fall). I plan to make at least $20K in the next 3 remaining weeks just betting against these teams...without having to think much about the bet. I used to spend hours analyzing this or that...fuck no...no more. why analyze when I know these teams are going to get murdered before half-time is over. The teams that suck will not turn their season around at this point of the season. They will continue to suck balls or get worse.
My uncle used to bet on NFL games 20 years ago. I don't know if he had any success doing it -- I don't think he did. I never thought I would bet on sports but realized that I can make a lot of money just by simply following trends and staying abreast of the news.
I am 100% Vietnamese...I came to the U.S at age 9 (my grandfather served in the U.S Army and got the paperwork to bring the family over to the U.S). I played WR in H.S. I am still very active and keep in good physical condition. I understand the game of football b/c I played it and understand the psyche involved. Unlike my uncle, I don't think he understood the details of the game....such as defensive coverages and schemes. Why is this important, when you are putting down $5k on a game, it goes beyond the numbers (point spread or total points). You have to understand the minute details that make football such a great sport to play and to watch. If you've never played it at the H.S level, you'll never understand that this game is one of the most vicious games of any sports...yea you hear it all the time on TV or through players but until you've played it you'll know.
My point is why bet on the NFL when the talent level is equal....even the Jags have good talent but they don't work in a cohesive manner to channel their talents like the Texans. And when the talent is equal on both sides of the ball, anything can happen. I repeat ANYTHING can happen...that's why it's so unpredictable. When I put money down on a bet, I want predictability. I want a high chance of winning..and winning can come easy if you are patient enough to wait for the right time....just as last week end. I don't even bet every weekend, but when I see a game or games(s) that I see potential to make a killing, I go all in. Last saturday, I won > $27k. This is just my second season betting on football. I won a couple grand last year. That was my rookie season....I've learned quite a bit in 1 year.

Alright, here is free pick for you guys this Saturday night. put all of your money on BYU no matter how much chalk you have to lay (as long as it is not more than 42 points). BYU will pitch a shut out.
so when is it best to play?put it in now or wait til kick off?? BYU-38 ...im always afraid of big spread like that..afraid Idaho do a trash td in the 4th qt for the cover. appreciate your advice Tigga76
