Wow, it's hard to believe the football season is down to 5 games left.
It's been a good wind down though, as I finished off the bowls at 25-12 ATS.4-1 yesterday that included 2 posted in game plays.
Today: Chicago Bears -10 (-106)
So the situation looks like this. We have a "red hot" Hawks team off back to back home playoff wins (Rams game was most definitely a playoff game). So the public is delighted to grab this red hot team with 10 points after knocking off the World Champs..seems like a gift. But not so fast. Looking inside the numbers the Hawks are giving up nearly 30 ppg on the road and 280 yds passing per game - yikes. In fact the Hawks soft defense has given up 34 points or more in 7 of the last 10 games. And now they face a very formidable defense with these Bears and this Chicago offense has put up 40 and 38 points in 2 of the last 3 games played (38 vs. the Jets!).
Backing Cutler can be a risky proposition but I think he gets the job done today; he just needs to limit the bad decisions. Scoring should not be a problem for the Bears today and I think this defense will shut down the Hawks.
Bears should take this by 14 points.
More later.
Great write-up! All pertinent information short and concise no manoosha, and I feel the same about Cutler. I have teased da Bears to -3 and NE -1.5, and may bump that wager. I bet on Chicago twice early on and lost and Cutler played awful, vowed NOT to bet them again and didnt, now I will have to! <lol> Great job yesterday buddy, and I wish youy the best today! PG
