The one blemish to the Seahawks season last year? The Cardinals coming into their stadium and ending their 14 game home winning streak. The Seahawks still won the Superbowl, but the whole season the Seahawks were being praised for being unbeatable at home, then Arizona came in and smacked them on their home turf. There’s not one person on this Seahawks team that wants to beat any team in the league more than the Cardinals right now – especially now that they have the best record in the NFL.
I will be using the Seahawks as an anchor in many teasers today, I don’t see anyway the Cardinals win this game. I know the Seahawks face the 49ers next week, but they’ve been looking forward to facing Arizona more than any other team in the league – remember they already beat the 49ers in the NFC championship last year so there is no revenge needed in that game. Seahawks bounce back in big fashion here this week.
Teams that are 3 point dogs or greater this late in the season with just 1 loss or less are 3-22 SU all time. Books opened this line at Arizona +7, they know Arizona is going to get crushed here. A win for the Cardinals here would prove nothing. They already have the best record in the league, have a 3 game lead in their division, and already proved they could go into Seattle and win last year. The Seahawks meanwhile, will be playing this like a playoff game. This is absolutely a must-win game for Seattle. Their schedule after this game features @SF, @PHI, SF, @ARI, STL. They have to win this game to stay in the playoff race as there are several losses ahead of them coming. This team is a championship team, they know the importance of this game. Max Unger was a big blow to them, but they’ve already played 5 games this year without him so they’ll at least have a gameplan in mind for his absence. This will be an old-fashioned Bully Beatbown Blowout.

Terrible spot for the Falcons here. Their last home game was on October 12, over 40 calendar days back. ATL has a ton of young players on their team, how many of them do you think will be stoked to be back home in order to spend time with their friends, family, kids? A lot of players on this team will be unfocused coming into this game. Falcons back in 1rst place in their division; however, that is because they have gone 4-0 in the division. Their last two wins were close games against the Panthers and the Bucs but they are 0-6 outside their own division. Main reason is they have the #32 defense in the league currently and struggle when they don’t have a coaching advantage that knows a lot about their opponent. I’m not impressed.

Couldn't agree more with your POY. I just put up something about it myself. I would say good luck to us but in this spot, I just don't see us needing it.

Why tease them with the Lions and/or Browns, LC? One of those teams is gonna get blown out (IMO). BTW, is this a hunch:

Or are there stats that back this up?
And as far as Unger goes, I'm still a bit worried. Here are the results of their games without Unger this year:
Loss to Dallas at home 30-23
Loss at St Louis 28-26
Win at Carolina 13-9
Win at home against the Raiders 30-24
Unger's absence really affected Lynch, so Wilson will have to pick up the slack. Good luck.

I’m a huge Patriots homer, I’ve made more money on them than any other team in the NFL (same with Thunder in the NBA). They will struggle to score in this game. If they have one weakness it’s strong defensive lines (F U Giants x2). Everything the Pats do on offense is based on their offensive line protecting Brady and opening up big holes via fancy schemes (belichick) for their average RBs. Lions have the best Dline in the league and it’s not even close. Lions are also in a very favorable spot according to many of my systems.
I don’t have stats to prove the Falcons will be unfocused but I don’t like the spot they are in due to the long road trip, and they have the worst defense in the league, and the Browns are off an embarrassing loss. Easy bet for me.
Also the Cowboys loss was the first game without Unger so it’s not a surprise they struggled in that game. They didn’t have a capable plan or replacement yet. And the slim win over Raiders – the Seahawks went up 24-3 in the game, it was obvious they went on cruise control after that - the Raiders were winless after all so it’s not like the Seahawks even prepared for that game. The other two games were road games

OK, got it. You make some good points, it's just that when you hear the o-line coach say something is a huge setback for the team, you worry:
"Tom Cable didn't even try to downplay it. Losing Pro Bowl center Max Unger for at least three weeks and maybe longer is an awfully big blow for Seattle.
"It is. It is," the Seahawks' offensive-line coach told 710 ESPN Seattle's "Danny, Dave and Moore" on Tuesday. "You can't talk around that one or say, 'Well, next man up' and all that sort of BS. It's real. He's a really good player and he's playing at a really high level again this year. So you lose him, it is a blow."
Unger sustained a high ankle sprain and also twisted his knee in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game. He'll be sidelined for at least part of Seattle's exceedingly difficult closing stretch, if not all of it.
The Seahawks brought back Unger's former backup, Lemuel Jeanpierre, but Cable's comments seem to suggest that Patrick Lewis will be the starter for the time being. Lewis replaced Unger on Sunday, and while Seattle's offense was noticeably less effective after that point, Cable said Lewis "did very well" in what was only his third appearance of the season.
"This time, he went in, he was really clean, took care of the snap, assignment-wise he was on it," Cable said. "So we're making good progress that way."
Seattle signed Lewis in early October after Unger injured his foot against Washington, which elevated Stephen Schilling into a starting role. Lewis played a handful of snaps against St. Louis while Schilling was shaken up, then he started against Oakland while Schilling was nursing a knee injury that later ended his season.
So in less than two months, Lewis has gone from Seattle's third-string center to possibly the starter.
"What we have to do then is circle the wagons around Patrick, who has displayed that he's improving," Cable said. "If we can do that and just raise his level up to everyone around him, I think we can be fine."
As for Jeanpierre, Cable called his signing a "no-brainer" given his familiarity with the system. Jeanpierre made eight starts over the previous three seasons with Seattle, three of those starts coming last season at center while Unger was injured.
"This will give us a good backup role," Cable said of Jeanpierre's addition, "and then we'll move forward and see if he can actually get in there and do it."
I think they will rally and win this game. The key will be forcing turnovers. If they do that, they'll win going away. You are right about NE's matchup problems, but I never back the Lion's on the road.
