The Vikings and Rams are my top plays this weekend.
Since firing John DeFlippo and promoting the old quarterbacks coach who’s been with the team for years, the Vikings offense has had a 25.2% more effective efficiency rate. One has to wonder if the Vikings would have already been penciled into a playoff spot if Stefanski was calling the plays during their draw against Green Bay in week 2, or the game in Seattle where they left tons of points on the table.
Regardless, I see this Vikings team hitting their stride at the right time. This is a different team than it was in weeks 1-14 and I see them as being 2-0 versus the 6-6-1 under DeFlippo.
On the other side, the Bears are not the Bears from early this season. Eddie Jackson one of the best safeties in the league this year is out for this game, while Bryce Callahan the best slot corner in the league is out for the year. A top slot corner is what is needed in today’s NFL to stop potent passing attacks. I didn’t fade Chicago last week with these injuries as I didn’t expect Nick Mullens and his receivers to be able to take advantage, but I have much more confidence Kirk Cousins, Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph, and Kevin Stefanski will find the holes in this defense. Minnesota should win this game rather comfortably.
Vikings -5.5 (5x) -230 (1x)
Giants -6 (3x)
Rams -10 (3x)
Rams -6.5 first half -115 (1x)
Cardinals +13.5 (2x)
Giants PK / Rams -4.5 -120 (1.5x)
Giants PK / Titans +10 -120 (1.5x)
NFL YTD: 108-55 ATS +94.11 Units

If the Bears see LA is winning easily at the half they will let up and Minny will win but if the Bears want it they will beat Minny The Vikes can’t beat the Bears at the line if the Bears want it The Bears are way better at the line plain and simple .

I hate that the Vikings are your 5unit play. Eagles fan here hoping for a Vikings loss but you’ve been so hot, if you’re right here we’re missing the playoffs! Won’t go against you tho. Good luck!

Hi LC. Thanks for sharing your plays and thoughts. I have an open 11 point teaser and have already added the browns and rams for this week. I was thinking about adding the patriots and chiefs. Do you have any thoughts on either of those as adds? Or recommend me adding different teams?

100% agree on the Vikings play. As a Bears fan I’m ok losing this one and with the Rams most likely winning comfortably, no need for the Bears to go nuts tomorrow.

That is music to my ears for MINN -5.5. We've all seen this before in Week 17 - and hopefully the Bears go to safe mode early in this game.

Slow your roll, bears are nice but your not going to the dance. Hell, ownership can't even remember the last time you were in the Playoffs.

Bears fans, take a very deep breath...your team is way over rated...the offense is very unreliable and even the defense can be had against steady offenses they will see in the playoffs...the Giants game showed this is far from the Seahawks of the mid decade...frankly I'm sick of this drooling over that unit..it is good, not great, but more importantly, in LA or NO, you'll be in deep trouble trying to keep up...and if anyone besides Cousins was the QB next week, you'd be in trouble at home
