This is a HUGE game for both teams. Miami wins this and they go up 4-0 while the Patriots who win the division every year go to 1-3 and 3 games back of the division lead after just 4 weeks. Now tell me, which of these teams has more experience playing in big games? This will have a playoff atmosphere to it as it’s essentially a must win for New England, and the Dolphins have played in 1 playoff game in the last 10 years, and close to 0 other meaningful games late in the year or to clinch the division as they are never in a position to. This week 4 meeting very quickly makes this one of Miami’s biggest games in a while. Now we are asking them to go into an extremely hostile environment in a game they have 0 experience playing in. Huge advantage to the Patriots.
If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know why I’m backing the Pats here. I bet against New England the last 2 weeks and am telling you the Pats you saw against JAX and Detroit is not the same team you will see moving forward. Not even close. The Patriots are being sh1t on for being 1-2, but they haven’t even played a single game with their defense healthy yet. That changes this week. People are saying Brady looked terrible last week but won’t even acknowledge the Lions held the ball for 20 of the first 25 minutes due to the injured Pats defense.
And on offense, Gordon will finally be replacing Dorsett who saw 5 targets from Brady last week but caught 0 of those 5 targets. The Dolphins are better this year, I bet them over 6.5 wins in the preseason for one of my bigger team total futures of the year, but they aren’t on the Pats level. Pats will show up this Sunday, and I expect them to win this game by 3 TDs.
Buffalo Bills @ Green Bay Packers
The Packers, like the Vikings yesterday, are another team that’s living off their reputation from previous years. I’m not high on Green Bay at all right now, plus, Rodgers is playing injured and has had very little practice time with his receivers over the past few weeks due to his sore knee. I wish I had more confidence in the Bills, but I believe they have a solid chance at an upset.

End of the dynasty right?

Nice writeup and nice record man. My only issue is that there is no word whatsoever that Gordon is ready to play. And although Cooks did a few bonehead moves for us like trying to hurdle a man twice his size in the endzone, he is still so sorely missed. And I started this week touting my Pats that no way we can lose to Miami in NE, but I'm getting doubts. The biggest hope is going to be a breakout game from Michel aside from Gordon being active, healthy, and knowledgeable enough to have an affect. I know Brady is boiling at the brim right now but he does need someone catching the rock and I have no idea what happened to Hogan this year

As a Dolphins fan who hasn’t seen a win in Gillette since 2008 and the wildcat game, I usually would agree and most of me thinks we get shellacked. I also haven’t seen a dolphins team this good since I can remember, the chemistry is there, leadership is there, talent is there, coaching is there. So if we ever had a chance to put up a fight in Gillette it’s this week. Will we? Depends how angry Brady and Co are having everyone write them off and not leading the division. I also think gronk has lost a step or two. Best of luck to you man, stay hot. Love the Texans play. Lock it

League cap you are right. I'm the biggest pats fan ever. Having been to 2 pats game this year, the first game and in Detroit. I'm throwing the bank at the pats this week.. I believe they will jump on Miami from start and control the game and won't let up. This will be my biggest play of the year 7k .. bank it bro... Thanks for your great capping skills too

Looks like he's playing although not confirmed yet. But still, the biggest need is on the Pats defense. Pats problems on offense are way overstated at the moment, they really only had 1 bad game and with Gordon arriving and Edelman back next week they'll be fine. It's really the defense but reinforcements are arriving.

I thought you’d be on the Bears -3 given your recent bet for them to win the division. Any reason why not?
Definitely high on the Bears, but i'm also high on the Bucs this year a lot more than most. Because i'm high on both teams I passed, but will be rooting for a Chicago win.
I really like the new OC for Tampa, and they could be 3-0 to start the year if it wasn't for the 4 turnovers last game (impressive given their opponents they've faced). And that's with their run game and defense playing like garbage so far. I think both will improve as the year goes on

Giants +3.5 not enticing enough for a straight play?
Thoughs on Balt, Clev and Cincy as small dogs?
Any chance Darnold and crew go in the road and beat the Jags?
Bol brother
Giants and Browns almost made my card. Ultimately decided not to play either as Giants injury report wasn't favorable, and didn't want to fade desperate Oakland. Although I do think Oakland will be gassed after all those close finishes.
No interest in Darnold vs JAX, but rumor has it Bowles is on the hot seat and his players love him. I'm sure they will put extra effort for him this Sunday
