Cowboys play the most man defense in the NFL - at close to 70%. SF has weaknesses - but this matchup is to their advantage - Purdy is great against man and if the run game works he should be able to shred the Dallas secondary.
Dont take this as an endorsement of Purdy or SF. It is just an advantageous matchup for a lot of reasons. I will try to write up more later if time allows - just in crunch time for me on Sunday AM with soccer and NFL final buying and selling adjustments.

The running game. Everyone knows about Ridder, its not like you can be an NFL casual observer and not know he is on the hot seat. Atlanta is finally going up against a team they should be able to run the ball at will on - the Texans defense is 28th in the NFL in rushing defense against a Falcons run game that is pretty good.
I love what the Texans are doing - I think Stroud is the real deal. Bad matchup for them today.
Hey van, thanks for posting. I am thrilled to see you on a few sides I have already bought into heavily. I love the Colts and Jets in teasers to +9.5 (my local offers -120 on 2 game 7 point teasers).
I would appreciate your thoughts on Ravens-Steelers. In this matchup, getting 4.5 would normally be a auto bet on the Steelers, but as a fan their offense has been dysfunctional even beyond what the ugly final stats would indicate. The Steelers defense has greatly underperformed my (I think realistic) expectations and I have a feeling that the Ravens will be able to move the ball on the ground and through the air. I am very tempted to take the Ravens despite the line being much higher than typical for this matchup.
This is a tough one for me. All - and I mean all - of the numbers point to the Ravens. But they have some key injuries, and weird shit happens in this series and 4.5 is a lot of points to lay on the road in the NFL.
I cant make a case to bet the Steelers other than it feels like this would be the week they turn it around. Their offense is putrid. They have a hurt QB. So for me it is Ravens or nothing - and I cant pull the trigger.

On the other side of a few of these today. Makes me cringe a little but hey it is what it is! Seems like the sharp money is on Atlanta but I’m not buying. If Ridder has to do anything to win this game it could get ugly. Especially if Houston can slow the running game down. Also leaning Denver and of course the Jets are your strongest play lol!
