YTD (NFL): 56-43-3 ATS (BIG PLAY!!!: 10-7 ATS)
I'm guessing this game will feature a split as to which side is consensus for the bettors tonight. I'm seeing the advantage with the total, as these teams seem to really get out after one another in past years. Of course, most of those have been dominated by the Eagles but this year boasts a different Commanders team led by the sensational Jaylen Daniels. Zach Ertz will be fully motivated as well to face off against his old squad and I don't see Saquon Barkley slowing down vs. anyone.
The Redskins are the second highest scoring NFL team in the first half with 16 points scored but when they are away that drops down to 15. Philly is middle of the road as it seems they are always staging 2nd half comebacks or at least scoring more in that half, as evidenced by their mediocre 10 points scored on average in the first half of home games. But I think the real advantage is on the full game over and that's what I am strongly backing tonight.
OVER 49 (WAS/PHI)...BIG PLAY!!!: I really dont' love making bigger plays on the mid week game but it's just too good for my liking. In the Commanders last 5 games on the road, they have gone OVER. In 4 of the past 5 on the road in Philadelphia, the Commanders have gone over. IN fact, over the past TEN GAMES the over has gone 7-3 ATS when these two teams square off. Still not convinced? Consider the total has gone OVER in 8 of Philadelphia’s last 10 games when playing at home against Washington and going back even further the total has gone OVER in 9 of Philadelphia’s last 12 games when playing at home against Washington. I just don't see any other way to play this game except to sit back and enjoy two of the top 7 teams in scoring this year square off.
