You do know that nobody cares about you being a doctor if that is in fact true. People can do their own research and draw their own conclusions without being a conspiracy nut. So I guess you do know about the possibility of the Pfizer/Moderna mRNA vaccines are unproven and have shown to increase IL-6 levels to a point that may trigger some autoimmune diseases? Why hasn't there been true studies or releases of the facts that most that have severe reactions to Covid are obese/fat and have other issues? Yet, lets just lock everybody down and not care about anyone's health. If the gov't truly cared about our well being then the Covid vaccine wouldn't be the only health/safety item that is given away for free. You can take your shots and scream at everybody else to do the same. I'll do what is my god given right to do. That is to make my own choice whether taking the vaccine is right for me. At this time, I am not taking it nor do I plan to. I personally know somebody that died after taking the first Moderna injection............however their is cricketes from the media about all the nasty side effects and deaths from the vaccine. The gov't wants to close gyms, and the outdoors while pumping fear porn on the TV 24/7 while people sit at home gaining weight and becoming even more unhealthy! They continue to flip flop on mask, vaccines, etc. etc. yet people like you think you are special and can tell someone like me what to do or try to make me feel guilty. The heck with you and anyone who can't respect those of us who don't bow to your b.s.!

Let's think about this for a minute. You are trying to convince a gambler to think about something before picking a side. In these types of situations they will go with their gut instinct.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis will miss the next five days of practice after being deemed close contacts of a team trainer who tested positive for COVID-19, a league source confirmed Tuesday. Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei is also in quarantine, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
All three tested negative for the virus Tuesday morning but must miss practice anyway, per the NFL's COVID-19 policy. The trainer is fully vaccinated, a source told Schefter.

Its league protocol , their league , their rules ...
The unvaccinated are not the ones filling up the hospitals, dying or being left with life altering illnesses....
Get the vaccine or don't...No one here cares what you do

Are you certain that the unvaccinated are filling up the hospitals? I ask because as far as I know, it is the exact opposite. Hospitals are not releasing this information so hence we have only anecdotal comments from medical staffs. Of course Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Jake Tapper et.al. voice the official narrative that you express.

I'm not a cable news watcher ( why would anyone watch that sensationaliized crap ?)
I know personally that only 3 vaccinated people have been hospitalized at any of the catholic health facilities here in WNY . ( All in their 80'S ) That accounts for less than 1 % over the last 3 months ...
Good friend of the MRS. is a DNP for adventhealth in Orlando , she says that 98+% of the Covid patients there are unvaccinated ..Many are much younger than any other time during the pandemic ...

The unvaccinated are 29 times more likely to be hospitalized than the fully vaccinated:

Wonder why they didnt post this story from the Denver post ??
“If it could happen to me, it could happen to anybody,” said Phillips, who worked as the performance nutrition and supplementation expert for the Denver Broncos in the late 1990s during their Super Bowl championships and is the author of Body-for-LIFE.
“It’s not a political issue,” he added. “It’s a public health issue.”
A little more than two weeks ago, the 56-year-old was in a medically induced coma and hooked up to a ventilator to help him to breathe because of the coronavirus. He spent 47 days intubated and lost 70 pounds during his time at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood.
Phillips said he chose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine because he had the virus before and thought the antibodies would be enough to protect him from reinfection.
“I did not get vaccinated because I made a mistake,” he said during an interview at the hospital. “I thought since I had COVID in January 2020, I was immune to it.”
He added, “That mistake came…close to costing my life.”
When Phillips was admitted to the hospital — which is operated by Centura Health — on June 25 he already had pneumonia. He was healthy and active before his second infection. Now, he’s had to relearn how to walk and other skills, said his wife, Maria Phillips.
Phillips expects to be discharged on Wednesday.

“It’s a misconception that you need to have pre-existing condition to get sick and die from COVID,” said Dr. Alex Benson, a critical care physician with St. Anthony’s Hospital, adding, “If you had (COVID) that doesn’t mean you are fully protected, and you should get vaccinated.”
Colorado is experiencing another wave in COVID-19 infections as the more transmissible delta variant spreads across the nation. The increase is not yet as bad as other states, but hospitalizations reached their third-highest point Monday since the crisis began with 734 patients. That’s up from 324 hospitalizations a month ago.
The state also reported 10,277 new cases last week, which is up 2,525 cases from the previous week, according to data from the state health department.

Colorado’s COVID-19 cases at highest level since April Have you had a COVID-19 breakthrough case? We want to hear about it. A majority of the people hospitalized with COVID-19 in 2021 have been unvaccinated or only partially inoculated, according to state public health officials. While there have been an increase in breakthrough cases in vaccinated people, the shots are protecting against severe disease that can cause hospitalizations or death.
Phillips had three family members get COVID-19 after getting vaccinated, including his 91-year-old stepfather. Unlike him, they had mild systems and were not hospitalized, said Maria Phillips, who has since gotten inoculated.
“We didn’t understand this is possible,” she said. “Bill will probably never be the same, but we’re just so grateful he is alive.”
On Monday, federal regulators approved Pfizer’s two-dose COVID-19 vaccine — an action that state officials and public health experts hope will spur more people to get inoculated. Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said in a statement to the people who’ve been waiting for full approval, “that day is finally here and you can start the protection clock today.”

I have seen several threads pop up about covid-19 and vaccines and concern from those on this forum about masks requirements and vaccine mandates for the players. In a previous thread - I saw one particular moron state that "masks do nothing" and that it is "impossible" to get covid twice. I usually don't speak publicly about these topics as they are divisive. This is a gambling forum and we need to put our heads together to make informed decisions about positive expectation wagers like we did last year. I did well in both the NBA and NFL which made last year both profitable and enjoyable. .......with that being said, as a physician and someone who studied molecular biology, your OPINION on masks and vaccines is irrelevant. It is inconsequential. It means nothing. You are entitled to have it but it isn't based on logic or science. No. It is based on stupid talking points that you either saw on FOX news or FB group. Unless you have a molecular biology degree and can explain the difference between cell mediated and humoral immunity and every single step in the process of antigen presentation, including how antigen is presented on MHC Class II of CD4 helper cells, you don't really get to have a f***ing opinion on the efficacy of vaccines because you don't even understand WTF they do! You conspiracy nuts are ****ing embarrassing yourselves. Anyone can get covid twice. I have already seen it several times. The only difference is that those who have been vaccinated have built up immunity and therefore do not get as sick like the unvaccinated. If these dumb ass teams and players don't want to get vaccinated and they have an outbreak among the team then they get to suffer the consequences of their stupid decisions. They don't need to be infecting other teams, coaches, fans, and all the personnel that work at other stadiums and deserve to lose out on the privilege that is to make millions of dollars playing a game. .....and no I'm not gonna debate any of you anti-vaxxer neanderthals who don't know anything about immunobiology. You can stay ignorant or go educate yourselves. The choice is yours.
you’re right, masks don’t do “nothing,” they actually weaken your immune system. You morons walking around breathing your own toxins looking like idiots. Masks aren’t doing you one thing besides showing your IQ level. You also can’t get a virus twice that doesn’t exist so there’s that. You’ve all been played and are too stupid to realize it.

Many of these conspiracy rubes will suffer the same fate as this wack job
Jimmy DeYoung, a Christian radio broadcaster who questioned the COVID-19 vaccines, died Sunday following a short battle with the virus.
He was hospitalized with COVID-19 on Aug. 7, according to The Chattanoogan, and died from the virus eight days later. DeYoung operated Prophecy Today and his radio program was heard on more than 1,500 stations worldwide, according to his website.
