My top 5 Supercontest plays for week 9:
Sea -7 (My line was Sea -10.33)
Jax -5 (My line was Jax -14.04)
Phi -8.5 (My line was Phi -17.34)
Atl +1 (My line was Atl -7.32)
Mia +3 (My line was Mia -4.6)
6 wagers for week 9:
Jets +3.5 W (My line was NYJ -1.26)
Giants +4 (My line was NYG -3.16)
Phi -7.5
Sea -7
Jax -6
Mia +3
Sea: Sea has some key guys out but their depth is incredible. Their offensive line should be slightly improved now. All their WR's are studs. Washington is decimated by injuries up front. Their 3 best interior defensive lineman from training camp are gone. Their starting LB is gone, and their safety play has been atrocious. Seattle has been talking up the run game which should have a good chance to get going. The front 4 pass rush for Washington looks like trash other than Kerrigan and Smith. On the flip side Washington missing 3 offensive lineman y'all. Pryor has been trash, Doctson is young, Grant isn't going to win alot of 1 on 1 matchups. Reed is out. Davis will be cover by Kam. It's a pretty rough matchup for Washington on the road.
Giants: Hold my nose and vomit. My model told me to do it so I did. They did have some of their best practices of the year according to those close to team and they have been playing extremely hard the last 2 games. LA has had a pretty brutal travel schedule the last month or soand I've been saying they're over rated all year so we will see what happens. Eli overall has been good too.

Phi: 1 of my top 3 rated teams in the league. Fierce pass rush. Linebackers and safeties can all cover. Corner play has been surprisingly good. Wentz has been great. Offensive line play has been top 10. No real weaknesses for this Philly team. I don't think Brock is an upgrade especially with 4 weeks to learn the playbook. The tackles and LG for Denver are going to get destroyed. Denver about to get blown out again I do not see them moving the ball on offense.
Jax: Still hate backing Bortles, especially as a fav, but he has beens neaky good, the run game is strong, they get another explosive weapon back in this game and the defense is ELITE. The Jags defense currently is the best unit I've charted since I've been developing my model the last 3 years. Going against a TRASH offensive line with a coach I don't respect I think it's possible Cincy gets waxed. Wouldn't be surprising to see an Adam Jones/Burfict frustration meltdown in this game. I don't see how Cincy can score consistently.
Mia: Not my top rated play of the week but maybe my personal favorite. Dolphins getting Ted Larsen back which is hugggeeee. He is an average/slightly above average lineman which is a big upgrade because their LG's were bottom of the barrell trash. M. Thomas thank goodness is replacing Nate Allen(who again has been trash), and both the Miami 2nd and 3rd corners have looked good and are big improvements on the guys playing at the begining of the year. Charles Harris is starting to put it together, the linebackers are playing well, the dline is ELITE. TONS of hidden value on this Dolphins team. Yeah they don't have a true workhorse but RB is the least important position in the NFL and they do have a good recieving RB which is the most important skill to have in my opinion. I don't like Oakland's offense. Cooper has been inconsistent, their RB's all look below average, they frequently look like as an offense they aren't on the same page. Defensively Oakland is trash. They have 1 special player on the dline abd a bunch of below average guys banged up. Cutler hasn't played as bad as he gets the rep for and Mia has 2 dynamic weapons Landry/PArker that I think a banged up Oakland secondary will have a hard time covering. Max effort game after Gase sent the team a message with the Ajayi trade and coming off a 40 point blowout. I expect Mia to win against an over rated Raiders teamin primetime.
Good luck! Really hoping to have a great week and try and move up to the top 25-30 spots in the Supercontest.

I just added Houston -6 as a wager.
like the rest except for Detroit. Think GB covers.
not a great start for me as Ertz is out after struggling in warmups and fournette isn’t suspended :(

You make some good points!

I got some bad numbers. Lots of steam today. Eagles is at 7 now, giants at 6. Jags at 5.5. Wish I had waited on some of those.
I got houston at -6. My spread for that game was Hou -9.9. Not a Tom of value based on my model but I think Indy has some internal strife and Houston’s dline is going to wreck shop. Fuller and Hopkins have been unstoppable and Houston should have a chip on their shoulder after everyone has written them off following deshauns injury. City is still buzzing with energy from the astros too. I’m rooting for them to win by 13 plus because everyone in the Supercontest is on Indy +13. I think Houston has a big day.

Should have been a 3-0 start in the Supercontest but Julio Jones.... I literally have no words. Capped that game perfectly. Still, a 2-1 start ain’t too bad.

The Miami push earns me a half point. 2.5 points should help me keep my same position, might fall a little bit but it could be worse. Pressing onwards. Will have a wager on tonight’s game.

GB +2
My line was GB -2.53
A couple of things. Yes obviously Stafford vs. Hundley is a mismatch. However, GB has huge advantges in skill position players, offensive lineman, and dline. The Detroit Oline was already bad but Robinson is out and his replacement at LT looks historically bad. Swanson has also been horrific. Detroit's other 3 lineman are very good- but GB has explosive pass rushers from every position on the dline and blitzes more so than most teams so I would expect Stafford to be under duress. Detroit has some good skill position players and GB's secondary hasn't been very good, but I doubt Stafford has the time he needs to hit anything deep. I think GB's defense shows out tonight.
Detroit has an above average dline, horrible linebackers, and solid safeties. I personally think they are making a big mistake not playing Killebrew at Safety instead of Wilson but that's just me. GB has enough solid recievers, RB's, and TE's(M. Bennett is out for this game which helps GB-Kendricks has been much better) that there should be GB players winning every play. The oline is elite and I doubt Hundley is under much pressure. Should have all day to throw back there.
