Niners get to Rodgers and force a key turnover or 2. Packer D is average at best and I look for some big plays for the Niners along with controling both lines. Niners 27 Packers 16.

49ers are a very banged up team. Add to that the fact that Kapernick will be starting his first playoff game against a veteran Packers defense that just saw a quarterback who is a very similar type player to Joe Webb and this is the only way I can look in this game.

This line is right where it should be. This game will be decided by a key turnover or key drive in the 4th... in week 1, packers had the ball and momentum in the 4, trailing 23-15, when rodgers threw a bad pick, allowing niners to seal the game with a td... if you recall, niners dominated the first half, the packers just werent ready for the intensity, but in the second half they did a decent job of moving the chains and looked like they were getting momentum. also recall rodgers "wasnt himself" the first 4 or 5 games of the year and since then he has been on a wicked roll...
Key for 49ers is the health of justin smith as mentioned in this thread...
Homefield does not have an impact for teams of this calibre at this point in the season....
No play for me, just gonna sit back and watch two great teams go at it..... the team that doesnt turn it over in key spots is the one that will win.... no play for me,

Give me Tom Brady vs. Colin Kaepernick any day of the week! Yea that logic isn't doomed to fail. Remember that game?
Packers get smashed. They can't beat the top teams. They got embarrassed by the giants. That's what happens when they play a real team. Their division is a joke and they get exposed. Line should be -7
Any team can beat any other team on any given night depending on the circumstances. Otherwise the Niners wouldn't have tied the Rams (should've lost) in SF and then lose to them SU in St Louis. And didn't the Niners get embarrassed at home too by the Giants???
So would you rather have Kaepernick instead of Rodgers at QB??
I said I would take my CHANCES with the defensive disparity.
We'll see who's right on Saturday.
GL to you.

<--- COMING FROM A DIE HARD NINER FAN.... throw out all your "pumped up for the game" "justin smith is the key" blah blah blah. We beat GB in the regular season.... NFL HISTORY says we wont beat them again in the same post-season. GB is the team i didnt want to play in the playoffs, anybody but them. if you beat a team outside of your division in the regular season and face them again in the playoffs you will LOSE. only team to do it was tom bradys pats against the peyton colts and thats because there was SERIOUS $$$ on the colts. if you follow this u can make a lot of $$$ in the playoffs. You're Welcome

SF beat them in GB, they can definitely beat them at home. SF is my pick to win the Super Bowl and they have to start by beating GB. Their reward for earning the #2 seed is a date with MVP Rodgers and the 2011 Super Bowl Champion GB Packers. Trust me, SF will be pumped for this game and I believe they get it.
And so will Rodgers who's from Chico, CA. and was passed over by the Niners on draft day.

Seattle put up over 40 on San Fran. you think smith would of made a different. Okay lets say Smith is worth 21 points Seattle would of still won. Settle down everyone.
Every team has a bad game. Especially when you just played a huge game in New England and have to travel to West Cost from East.
GB plays horribly against team that make them 1 dimensional..Look @ earlier game against SF and against Giants....

'9ers aren't the same w/o Smith, it's fact. He demands a DBL team, the backup doesn't. (That's a HUGE DEAL) b/c a DBL teamed Smith means there's a loose Aldon Smith!!
The Packets beat Webb, exactly. That Cheese has holes that K7 will exploit. Grant will come down off his unemployed-employed high bourse & get stuffed, Kuhn also, dirty-ass white boy. Speaking of white-boys, Clay Matthews, GB, you'll need two CLAY MATTHEWS to stop Gore from moving forward. Gore flattens men.

Niners opening at -3 and -3.5 makes me feel pretty good about the niners chances of getting past gb. I felt the line would have been pick or -1 sf cuz gb got healthier, gb lost to sf in the regular season, arod vs kaep etc. Gb +3.5 looks like a late christmas gift from vegas. This game might not even b close for gb imo. Sf by 10

gb smoked the giants in the regular season last year and then the giants march into lambeau as 8 point dogs and killed them. thats just one example of my trend... i can name u many many more.

I like GB moneyline. Wayyy too much value. I thought they would lose to Vikings today. I know they only beat Joe Webb, but they played well. I just don't feel good about the way the 49ers played the end of the season. I see some holes and Vernon Davis is a big softie. I really don't like how they dance on the kick off...wtf kinda pu.s.sy as.s garbage is that? I see Aaron Rogers carving them up.

I don't know what game you guys watched today but the Packers looked mediocre at home against a Vikings team with a QB that doesn't deserve to play in the CFL. The way Greenbay played today ain't going to cut it against SF at home. 49ers win by at least 10... and go on to beat Atlanta, then win the SuperBowl....

These two met earlier in the season and the result was a sf win, now with a hot hand like rodgers i think they get exposed and aaron goes off!!! I wouldnt wanna play the pack or the falcons right now that much i know. Clay mathews, woodson, both on the field at the same time. A healthy receiving options and a newfound dejuan harris burstin up the gut and king of the checkdown...All im sayin is as good as SF has been im not sure they can keep up with the pack in this one. Im sure they send a TE like finley or crabtree to chip on aldon smith too and keep him in check...
PACK ML thankyoucanihavesomemoreplease

49ers Win. You have to be well balanced to beat SF. GB running game isn't even close to what it use to be and even then it wasn't all that great. Their defense isn't either. They just looked good cause Webb couldn't complete a pass and Minn lost the little confidence they had in him. C'mon we saw Webb play earlier this season. Dude sucks.
