It’s third down and Tb runs and comes up a clear yard short. We see the refs move the ball a yard during the break. What rule does that fall under? When can teams call in the move the ball a yard rule? Is it only at certain times or for certain teams? I mean if it’s all legit there must a rule that allows such a play right?

Due to circumstantial evidence there is no doubt in my mind that it is manipulated by the officials. The goal is to make the game entertaining. And are you not entertained when just about every prime time game comes down to the last play? Is that not enough for you to at least question the legitimacy of the game?
That’s what people want to see and that’s what the NFL gives us.

Common gamblers philospohy: When you lose, it's because it's rigged and scripted or got a bad beat, when you win it's because you are smart and made a good pick.
What I don't get about the people that think it's scripted: There is still only 2 sides to the event, if you think it's scripted, then you need to handicap what the scriptwriters are trying to do, not the game. If you can't figure it out, then don't bet on it!

IF games were being controlled, it's never at the player level. Only very select coaches would be in on it that make play calls or substitutes or through the refs. Bad coaching or bad reffing should not be confused with being scripted, though that's where manipulation would potenially happen

All these conspiracy theories and misinformation has really spread into the mainstream unfortunately. Critical thinking requires you to keep an opened mind but requires evidence to get to the truth.
