I dont normally play parlays, but a buddy of mine was thinking of doing this parlay and has me a little convinced. Ind ML, NE ML, Hou ML, and Chi ML. pays about 2.5-1. Heres why: Ind fighting for positioning in playoffs and have Tenn next week, and dont want to have to win that game in order to get in, so will make sure to win this week. NE also fighting for their playoff hopes, not to mention it seems as though Arizona has packed it in and they are going East Coast ofr a 1 p.m. game. Hou has been playing very well these last 3 games whereas Oak is in disarray, and I think Hou wants to have a .500 wining record. And Chi is also fighting for playoff hopes with a slim chance to make it. Only problem here is if Minn wins then they are out and might not care about the game. Thoughts?

Not saying the colts won't win. But here in jax they are talking like this is their superbowl. Save the season and some respect by beating the colts and sweeping them.
I like the overall logic, just againest rivals at home, it may be faulty. If the Jags were playing say, the Pats on the road, I could see it.

yea i can see that rpwd, but on the other end, colts dont want to get swept by divsion rivals either, i'll wait later to decide what to do, just want to get some opinions.

could lay like 200 to win 518, then throw 100 to win 215 on the jags ML. If Jags win outright, dont lose anything, if they lose then 100 dollars is knocked off the parlay. IDK, what about this idea?

without Indy in the parlay, 200 pays 315. Thats $200 less than if Indy was in the parlay. By keeping them in and putting $100 on Jax ML, the parlay is still worth $100 more at $415 if Jax loses SU. If JAx loses SU, Indy wins so the parlay would still be good.

Personally, I would go NE, DEN, HOU CHI is a bit tricky because you do not know how MINN game will turn out. HOU is also a tough call. I hate to do ML for team that is not playing for play off hope at this point.

the next week. Agree with you about the spread, 6-7 points is hard

the next week, and not fully physically fit for the play-offs if they

Number one its not the playoffs. Its not only the theory, "They have to win so they will," but the moral and determination of the other teams. Hou doesnt have to win, but I'm sure they would love to because they have never been above .500 this late in the season, and Oakland's determination might not be there. Same with Ind., they have to win, whereas Jax isn't playing for anything but pride. Ariz also doesn't have anything to play for either, whereas NE does. These three situations are completely different than the playoffs because in order to stay alive BOTH teams have to win.
