I agree the Saints was the hottest team in the playoff's.

Contrary to what most of the Giants fans believes. The Saint's had the best offense in the league with acceptable defense, if the Saints played the Giants again at home, it would have been another beat down cause the Giants defense could not stop Brees. They would be my picked to win it all since both games played in dome stadiums.

Getting back to the 49ers vs Giants game, the 49ers have the better defense, special teams, and at home. Alex Smith has proven he is more then a game manager. 49ers defense handled Brees offensive scoring machine, should be a lot easier for the 49ers defense this game.

Should be a close game 49ers -2.5 and the winner wins the Super Bowl.

Chr!st man the Giants beat Dallas twice, the Jets, Atlanta, at Green Bay...

The 9ers beat the Rams twice, Seahawks, Cardinals, Pittsburgh when Roethlisberger was on one leg, and the Saints at home

The strength of schedule comparison isn't even remotely close

And don't tell me Dallas at home and on the road was easy. Tony Romo is a great qb.

Lets also not forget SF is 5-1 vs playoff teams this year SO THEY MUST HAVE PLAYED SOME GOOD TEAMS!

SF BEAT Pitt, AT Cincy,AT Philly,NYG,NO Det on the road when they were 5-0 and absolutely on fire!!,Also beat SEA on the road which is no easy task!

OK, so the Giants lost to the Skins, twice.
The 9ers beat the Skins.
Giants lost to the Seahawks, and the 9ers beat the Seahawks.

So, the 9ers > Giants.

There won't be high winds. Nobody is calling for high winds. That's a myth. There is not one weather channel anywhere calling for high winds.

I have to disagree here.........a muddy field would not favor a passing game. Lots of slipping by TE's & WR's running routes & getting bumped within 5 yards...............

The visiting usually does not have the right cleat size to start the game and watch the giants players will slipping more than sf.

Offensive players know where there going on each play. Defensive players have to react. Advantage offense. A muddy field could possibly slow down the pass rush. Lots of wind - advantage defense.

NY has already defeated New England earlier this season so should they move on, they would be facing them again. third time will be the charm for Bill B. to defeat Eli after two failures. He already has done it to Peyton, younger bro is next.
