I like both dogs today, but the Raiders are my top play this week. The Eagles are in a tough position to end the season in my opinion. They are an inexperienced team (haven't made the playoffs since 2013) that peaked early, then proceeded to lose one of the best offensive tackles in the league, followed by their star QB. On top of that, this young team is still expected to make a deep playoff run while not having won a playoff game as a unit, or even made the playoffs in years.
Nick Foles is an average QB who is now taking over the team with the best record in the league. That puts a lot of pressure on his shoulders to not let his teammates and city down, and I’d be surprised if he didn’t feel some heat at home on a MNF game against a sub-par team.
Can you imagine the immediate talk in Philly if they lose a home game to a bottom feeder that isn’t even in playoff contention? Philly has faced very little adversity up to this point. They’ll probably be able to squeak by the Raiders but I wouldn’t be surprised if the win against the Giants last week was their final victory until the start of the 2018 season next September.
On the other side, I like betting on teams off back to back performances where they came in unprepared. Raiders started last week’s game down 10-0 to the Cowboys, and the week prior started down 26-0 to the Chiefs. That’s a combined 36-0 to start the last two games. They should come out firing and pissed off early.
Raiders have nothing to play for as they’ve been eliminated from the playoffs, blah blah. This isn’t a 1:00pm game on Sunday, teams get up to play on Primetime regardless of the situation. This should be a close game and I’ll be taking a shot at the ML.
Raiders +10 ($4,500) / +400 ($500)
Texans +9 ($1,500)

Thanks guys, I’ve made a killing over the past month. Been a great run but we ain’t done yet
Funny how some people are putting the eagles struggles yesterday to the weather conditions. The Eagles are done, Nick Foles and Doug Pederson ain’t carrying this team
