OJ's Play of the Year $10k !! Pls Help!

Question

Hey guys OJ here to post my play of the year so far this NFL 2010 season. I marked this game on my calendar for about 2months or so and really can't find a better spot for my team the Washington Redskins. Coming off a dissapointing loss at Detroit last week and having a bye week this week to prepare for a huge game with playoff implications at home and on monday night football vs. Philadelphia Eagles.

Really won't get a better spot than this ever for my team. Only worries are If McNabb can really can carry the load on the offense and put points on the board and on the other side of the ball if the last ranked D in the league can step up and get some stops vs Vick.

QB controversy with McNabb has him really fighting for his job as well after being benched in the last 2min. vs Lions, so Im thinking he really comes out with a bang vs. his former team and really has a breakout game. Its really unlikely he's gunna just tank vs. the team that let him go last year, If it was against anyone else I would understand but not against Philly. In the 17-12 win at philly for the redskins, they really played a solid game and McNabb was efficient, However Vick was injured early in the game and the Eagles never really recovered after that. It worries me in this game he will prob. start and is healthy again.

This game is really important for both teams with the Redskins sitting at (4-4) 3rd in NFC East and Eagles (5-3) 2nd in NFC East. Throw in Monday Night Football and this has the makings of a shootout and I can see a 3pt game going either way. But I really feel that the Redskins need this win more right now and the fact that their (+3) really has me all over this game.

My pick involves in what I think is a absolute solid Pick which is Redskins +10 for $10k to win about 3k. Its tons of juice but Im just lookin for a big win after grinding this whole year and getting burned a few times. This will be my last pick for a long time If it loses but I wanted to get some insight before locking it in on friday or saturday prob. Please let me know what you guys think and help me out. Don&#x27;t do it....not worth putting 10k on the line on your home team and ESPECIALLY not when you&#x27;re only getting 3k as the return. I don&#x27;t play ML favorites ever but I&#x27;d rather put my money on a -300 ML before I&#x27;d put that bet in.

As someone who wishes he had $10k to his name I'll say this...

I've also been waiting for this game for a couple weeks to hammer the Eagles -3. But you're talking about Skins +10 so that's a mute point.

Your team is really really inconsistent. They didn't see any of Vick in the first meeting. They still to my knowledge have given up the most plays of 20+ yards in the league, and the Eagles offense with Vick is predicated on these big plays.

On the other side of the ball McNabb and the Skins have two major things against them: lack of talent at WR and an offensive line with major holes facing one of the best pass rushing defensive lines in the league.

I also believe it will come to play out that Shanahan with these McNabb antics on top of the Haynesworth saga has lost the locker room but there's no proof of it to this point.

It's a division game so anything can happen. But in gambling there's never a sure thing and I usually advise on getting betting equity on any play. Laying this much juice IMO is always a losing proposition because your risk is way too high for the reward.

For instance, if McNabb goes down early and your $10k is suddenly in the hands of Rex Grossman

Since you're a huge fan you had to have seen the game against Chicago. That alone should keep you off this play.

BTW, Jets fan who lived with a huge Skins fan all preseason so I've had an interest in what the Skins have done all year and have seen most of their snaps.

Im getting 10pts to cover on a clearly botched line. The books never respect Redskins and this a spot where you wont find for a while seriously. Im never going to shove 10k on a ml but when Im getting the points they can even lose by 10 and ill push at worst. Its a solid pick still man. If philly wins its going to be by 3-7, but Redskins need this win much much more than the Eagles are off a win too. Redskins are off a loss and off a bye. If things go wrong Ill always have those 10pts to cover...just look at Cincy today.

I agree with you dj, but I really do feel as If this really is the game that will let people know about the redskins at least temporarily and quiet things down between the whole Mcnabb issues. Please hoping more ppl can let me know what they think before gametime and that this thread is active since it will be a lot of money at stake for me If I decide to make the play. Can&#x27;t believe there are people that think these guys are betting that kind of money. There have been many pathetic blown leads or losses in the past 3weeks. Let me remind you.... giants @ cowboys 2weeks ago and romo gets injured when their up 20-7...hmmm....Pats @ chargers another great spot for chargers....fg off the post to send game into overtime missed and pats take it. You can say im chasing but Im going for a big win regardless and im 100% confident in my pick because you wont find a spot like this for the rest of the year until playoffs. &#xD;&#xA;   As for all others this is NOT a joke. I don&#x27;t bash people on here but that is not a good bet.  Why not put $3000 on Minny, Hou, and KC? Diversify and stay alive. If you go 3-0, or 2-1, then you can still try your method, just smaller.  If those bets go 1-2 or worse, then it is time to stop betting!
