They coudlnt kill redskins, what is going on here?

Mile High isnt the best place to steal a win.

This team is fired up, Im confused why does everyone think this is going to be a easy win. I have not been to covers all week, this is my first time stopping by, and I am in shock as this is my play of the day tomorrow.(Broncos + the points)

I took the Pats -7 as I am a big Pats fan and a homer!
    (Probably a dumb move)

BUT I agree with you Jack....Denver is a tough place to play especially for the Pats

I don't see this as an easy win by any means as the Pats D is horrible at best!

I just think they somehow get it done and score enough to cover but this game could go either way

teams that lost to denver couldn't put them away and let them hang around-With the pats offense that won't happen in my opinion.
    2 examples
Jets let them hang around -Tebow got them

bears couldn't put them away -Tebow got them

I just don't think its a good matchup for denver.

Have you bother to look at Tebow stats 4th quarter? Yes he look god awful but 4th?

Den D has improved thanks to J. Fox...he's a fucking genius. Play hard for 3 qts and let tebow take over 4th....7-1 right?

How are those +pts don't look great for Den????? Seriously.....and pats d is the worst in the nfl.

Firepower yes....but don't you think pats d will get dominated by tebow and that ol ? It's a tough place to play and that D is going to have issue staying in-sync.

That line jumped like a mofo...that cannot be good for Pats backers at all.

    News for Jerod Mayo contract

LB Jerod Mayo locks up 5-year extension

We all know what happens most of the time when a key player signs a big contract extension....feeling good = Not playing very well. Mayo will be the person most likely to contain TEBOW....

How are those +pts don't look great for Den????? Seriously.....and pats d is the worst in the nfl.

Pats offense 3rd in Nfl   Pats Def 14th in Nfl..
Den offense  21 in Nfl    Den  Def 22nd in Nfl.

Pats are last ranked team in yards per game and passing yards per game but they dont break...     Therefore not the worse D in Nfl..

I am a pats homer, and I am not very comforatable with there defense but they should be able to score at will like usual..   Broncos will not be able to keep up..      But its is the nfl anything can happen... BOL...             My prediction.  34- 17 pats

Well...if you look at the line, that's what it's telling you. Pats off gonna roll up Den big. But J. Fox is a very smart man, I think he know how Brady thinks...just saying and Den is fast. Have you seen Champ Bailey shut down corners the way he did when Den gave up Portis for him? What was that? 8-9 yrs ago? That Den's defense is insane and they are not getting enough credit. Not to mentioned the turnover battle in favor of Den too...I wouldn't be surprise if Brady threw 2-3 picks this game, he did against Buffalo.

You cant put any team that Den has beat in their 7-1 run on the same playing field as Brady.
    1. @ Oakland - Okay Oak isnt a terrible team but 10 for 21 and 124 yards shouldnt get you a win on a regular day in the nfl (especially against brady)
    2. @ KC - KC... Enough said...
    3. Jets - Again, a decent team.. But 9 for 20 with 104 yards not gunna do it vs Brady (also, i think they'll need to score more then 17 to win this one.. let's face it Sanchez will never be comparable to Brady)
    4. @ SD - I think I can confidently say, not including december (so far) SD was in the bottom 5-7 teams in the league (annnd once again 9 for 18 for 143 yards... seeing a trend here?)
    5. Min - Respect to Min's D (or at least to Allen) but no peterson and ponder as QB. Can't say im too impressed by a squeek out 3 point win
    6. Chi - No cutler, no Forte... It was basically a coin flip game. Couple bad bounces/calls gave Den the game, could have just as easily gone the other way.

Now you have to come up against a 10-3 brady/belichuk combo.. Now Tebows numbers have to stack up against Brady's... and if Welker and Gronk have anything to contribute the game could be a blow out easily. Tebow is overrated and even if i have to eat my own words (just like I did when Pats lost to the Bills as I live near Buffalo) I don't care. There is no way Den should be able to keep up in this game. Brady would have to play terribly for 4 quarters straight and thats unlikely. Yes Pats D is suspect, but somehow they dont manage to give up a ton of points (21/game 15th overall) yet they manage to pack on a ton (30.5/game 3rd overall).........

Just my thoughts, though as stated above.. It's the NFL, any given sunday!

Other than the original poster, you all just regurgitated what media "experts" say.

Since NINETY percent are on the Pats to demolish Denver, you might want to look closer if you decide to bet. Not just blindly listen to media "experts"... lol wow

John Fox is not a smart man imo.. he's a pretty awful coach overall, why he got fired from his last gig.  81-76 with 3 playoff teams, 1 a superbowl team and losing a lot of big games that kept them out of the playoffs in other years.. is not a genius imo.  I used to be a carolina fan and hated him so bad, I couldnt watch their crap anymore lol.

BB vs Fox, it's not even a contest.. BB is pretty much the man in NFL coaches

Denver ran into the perfect storm of teams having new players, having hurt qb's, OAK, KC, CHI, MIN with no AP and crappy qb,  SD and Jets are really only 2 that should have beat them, and well Sanchez is Sanchez, and SD was playing like one of the worst teams in the league at the time of their game

Then you got Defenses playing soft prevent in the 4th with 8 min to do sitting on a 6-10 point lead cuz they are scared and don't want to lose the game.  As Herm said, you play to win the game, so many teams play not to lose and it bites them in the ass.

Denver will have 0 answer for Gronk, nobody has one at this time. The pats D gets a bad rap since they rank defenses by yards.  They give up a ton of yards but can hold near the red zone, except against good QB's, Peyton, Eli, Brees, Rodgers their D can't really stop unless their blitz/pass rush gets there.. but Tebow is more like a white Vince Young (slightly better running skills, worse passing)
The pats have given up less points than Denver for the year.. that's how their D is and has been for a few years, same as Indy's was when they won the superbowl.  Get a lead, play coverage and rush the passer and get some turnovers.

I wasn't going to bet this game because I didn't get it early and now the line is a little higher than I'd like, but I think anything under 10 is good really.  I don't see Denver holding the Pats under 28-30, and we all know how BB is, he might try to smash them for 50 just because he's sick of hearing Tebow every 20 seconds.  Can the broncos put up 30?  20?  I think 20 is really pushing it, I see them kicking a lot of FG's, something like 35+ to 16 is what I think it ends on.

I know brady doesn't have a great record vs Denver, actually I think his record is pretty bad.. I just think this is the week they run into a great offense and get exposed as the paper tigers they are.  They aren't going to win an ugly 14-17 game vs the pats very damn often.

Just my thoughts on it all :)

Everyone says the Pats D is the worst in the league.  Yes, in yards, but not in points PPG. I just dont see Tebow being able to take advantage of a bad secondary.  Even with the secondary being bad and if they get beat he will lob up a duck.  He may connect on one, but that wont keep the Tebows in this game.  Pats-7 big.
