John Fox is not a smart man imo.. he's a pretty awful coach overall, why he got fired from his last gig. 81-76 with 3 playoff teams, 1 a superbowl team and losing a lot of big games that kept them out of the playoffs in other years.. is not a genius imo. I used to be a carolina fan and hated him so bad, I couldnt watch their crap anymore lol.
BB vs Fox, it's not even a contest.. BB is pretty much the man in NFL coaches
Denver ran into the perfect storm of teams having new players, having hurt qb's, OAK, KC, CHI, MIN with no AP and crappy qb, SD and Jets are really only 2 that should have beat them, and well Sanchez is Sanchez, and SD was playing like one of the worst teams in the league at the time of their game
Then you got Defenses playing soft prevent in the 4th with 8 min to do sitting on a 6-10 point lead cuz they are scared and don't want to lose the game. As Herm said, you play to win the game, so many teams play not to lose and it bites them in the ass.
Denver will have 0 answer for Gronk, nobody has one at this time. The pats D gets a bad rap since they rank defenses by yards. They give up a ton of yards but can hold near the red zone, except against good QB's, Peyton, Eli, Brees, Rodgers their D can't really stop unless their blitz/pass rush gets there.. but Tebow is more like a white Vince Young (slightly better running skills, worse passing)
The pats have given up less points than Denver for the year.. that's how their D is and has been for a few years, same as Indy's was when they won the superbowl. Get a lead, play coverage and rush the passer and get some turnovers.
I wasn't going to bet this game because I didn't get it early and now the line is a little higher than I'd like, but I think anything under 10 is good really. I don't see Denver holding the Pats under 28-30, and we all know how BB is, he might try to smash them for 50 just because he's sick of hearing Tebow every 20 seconds. Can the broncos put up 30? 20? I think 20 is really pushing it, I see them kicking a lot of FG's, something like 35+ to 16 is what I think it ends on.
I know brady doesn't have a great record vs Denver, actually I think his record is pretty bad.. I just think this is the week they run into a great offense and get exposed as the paper tigers they are. They aren't going to win an ugly 14-17 game vs the pats very damn often.
Just my thoughts on it all :)
