water on a duck's ass my friend. like most here said. happens to all of us........
No that doesn't work in the long run, it's because all gamblers in the long run are hitting at 50% and so even if you fade you own self you will still be hitting 50% in the long run.
But hey if there was such a gambler that was hitting 30% in the long run after years and years of gambling and one day decided to fade himself then he would be hitting 70% in the long run...lol
What a turnaround eh!

It does not work. I've tried that before when I have been on a losing streak. I concentrated real hard on two games and bet the opposite. I lost again as my ORIGINAL plays both won. Then it gets to the point where you do not know if your are fading yourself or fading a fade to lead you back to your original pick. It basically makes you nuts and is not even worth trying.

All gamblers in the long run are hitting in the 50% region after years and years of gambling making thousands upon thousands of wagers and no one is exempt from this and it's because of this mathematical law called THE LAW OF AVERAGES.
In the short run there are gamblers who can hit in the high 50% region, or the high 60% region, or the high 70% region etc. etc.
Right now this season I'm hitting 62.79% in the NFL with a 27-16-1 record, in the NBA right now I'm hitting 59.52% with a 25-17 record ATS, however in the long run I am only hitting 51.52% with a record of 2143-2016-31.

Oh I forgot to mention the most important stat, I am up +140.5093 units and because my 1 unit is equivalent to a 100 bucks I am up $14,050.93.
So despite only hitting at 51.52% overall I'm able to have winnings because I'm a prog bettor, I don't keep my wagers always the same amount.

"The Law of Averages" doesnt really exist in Mathematics
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_averages
Maybe the Law of Large Numbers would fit your logic, but that is taking an infinite number of bets among all players.
But I think in the "Long Run" for an individual player is his entire life. And there are definitely players that will average 55-60% (as well as those that are 40-45%) in their lives
Unfortuntely, I'm probably in the 45% range for my "Long Run"

Fading yourself is key! Esspecially if track your bets and know what type of spots you tend to lose in.
