Have watched NFL for 40+ years and have never seen such mediocre teams as I have witnessed this year.
Yeah, not a banner season with coaching especially, to think my Eagles are one of the top teams seems odd but the Bills and the Chiefs seem to be on a different level than the rest of the clubs while the Bengals are improving and a threat. NFC, who knows this year but AFC is by far the better conference. Chargers need to fire their dope HC.

All leagues are built for parity, it’s a necessity in sports. I think analytics and edgy coaching are the major problems in the current “meta” of the NFL right now. that to say, no I don’t think there are more mediocre teams than ever this year than years past. Its just a tighter grouping… sure you have your bottom feeders and the supreme squads, but anyone can lose (or win) any given week.
many thought it was unthinkable for the pats to lose to the bears on prime time.
for these reasons I mainly bet based on regression to the mean and I fade recency bias. But I also suck, so take it for what it’s worth
BOL this season brotha

Does anyone follow European soccer?
It is very ironic.... The US Sports leagues are socialist, while the European sports leagues are cut throat capitalist.
I am not sure we want what they have. In each league, the same 5 teams (or in some, one or two) battle it out every year for top spot - while the others have zero chance.
