Are the Bills really going to beat Colts/Pats b2b to start the season? The Patriots do have a little bit of extra rest & are good against rookie QBs. However, their interior line looked awful vs the Steelers. I think the Bills might be able to run the ball. This is a tough one man. I guess I'd pick the Pats, but you know how much Rex Ryan wants this game. More than anything. The Pats O-line is better than the Colts O-line, but it's not great. Unlike the Steelers the Bills will have a pass rush.

Who says its because of 1 game? Its also based on the bills season last year, and the talent at literally every position on the roster. Its a more talented roster then the pats ( besides brady/gronk}
because the majority of people base thoughts on the week prior...esp after week 1...and some based on aquisitions that haven't played out yet... can't say that's not true man ...

Long time Pats fan here. I am very surprised at the Even line. It is inviting fans to bet on the Super Bowl champs. I may pass on the game but, my money would be on Buffalo.
The Patriots consistently struggle in Weeks 1-3 most seasons. Rex Ryan will have this team motivated and the fans will be insane. Biggest game in Buffalo in years.
Pats O Line is new and will be under siege. When Brady is rushed he is at his worst. I expect a defensive battle.

Looked at the Bills highlights today, they got handed an early turnover and built on that momentum. Lots of running it seemed(vs Colts why not?), but I was hoping for a BUF win to lower the spread because I bet on the Pats most weeks but a PK with a rookie QB vs. NE with 3 extra days rest/prep, gotta like the pats.

I think the true Vegas line based on real power rankings should be Pats by 3, with 1.5 being good enough to split the money - yet we have a PK because Vegas does not want to give the sharps that edge (just like they did not want to give the extra hook to the TITANS).
The way this line moves throughout the week will tell a lot. I predict it will hit Pats -1.5. we'll see....

The pats will miss wilfork in the middle all year. Teams will be looking to run on em all year IMO. I think the bills run at em early and often. The best defense against Brady will be to keep him off the field.
