Pats vs Rams TNF

Rams -5.5 (Got the line yesterday)

The Pats overkill win seems like a smoke screen to convince bettors to take Pats tomorrow.  Everyone knows how hoody man does against rookie QBs.  The defense was the one that scored almost all the points in that game.  I'm sorry but at his stage of his career Cam is garbage.  He hasn't been an good qb since his run to the SB against broncos.  McVay and Goff can downplay this game all they want but I don't buy it.  They want to win, against team that ruin their changes to have a ring.  This isn't the good old Pats with Brady anymore and that is a huge plus for the Rams who trying for the 3rd time to get a W against them. I wasn't a fan of Goff and laugh at the Rams the first couple years when they passed on my home team QB Wentz but look whos the stud and now sadly the dud.  Goff has gotten better every year as Wentz became a headcase trying to be a hero to get Eagles fan to forget Foles.  I really like what Goff is doing this year hes making the right decision making good reads on the defense unless its a team like the Niners or they had to fly and play an early eastcoast game.  He has nice weapons with reliable hands like Woods and Kupp.  Akers at RB has been a pleasant surprise for the team.  It also helps that this Pats team is pretty banged up on both sides.  But the biggest thing for me is the Rams defense. Donald should have really good game and Ramsey should do great not dealing with pats best WR in Edelman.

Overall on both sides of the field Rams are excellent so Rams are my pick.  It might lose but I will put my money on a team that I can trust to make me profit.

My only concern is Harris. That dude is an absolute monster at running back. He’s been running over teams and strongly featured. Rams have issues stopping the run. If they can stop the run and Goff doesn’t turn it over, they should cover.

 True that but that makes Pats pretty one dimensional.  I can't trust Cam throwing the ball, he always overthrows and with his abs hurting on a short week getting hit by Donald isn't going to help.  GL always look for your plays when I'm on the forums.

What if he pulls Newton and puts Stidham in like he did last game ? it's coming and Stidham can play ,should have been the starting QB all along ,if i didn't think this might happen id be betting the Rams too.

Throwing an inexperienced Stidham in against the Rams with a guy like Donald in ya face in under 2.5 sec is a recipe for disaster. This isn’t the pre-season and young QBs need to gain that kind of experience early during the season. I’d bet the Rams couldn’t ask for anything better.

 He's not inexperienced he knows the system better than Newton, the balls out quick and he's resembles an NFL QB , it's an instant upgrade.

 Stidham is a bum.  If the Pats had any faith in him Cam would’ve never been signed.  

As for the OC.  The run game is huge for the Pats.  If they can run this game will be a lot closer than you think.  The Pats have better coaching and if their gameplan works the Rams could be in trouble.  Running the ball means the linebackers have to creep up and stay close to the line which creates an opening for Cam to make easier passes.  This game is 50/50 in my eyes.  I still haven’t decided and this might be a no play for me.  But definitely don’t think this is gonna be an easy ride for the Rams.  Pats always make it a game so the points might be the best choice.  Good luck with your pick.

Wrong Wrong Wrong not even close, Stidham's not a bum at all, the reason he hasn't played has nothing to do with his ability its just a result of a stubborn coach who made the stupid decision, he's has all the talent it takes to be a top QB in this league he just need a little talent around him and chance to play, then he'll shut everyone's mouth.

If the Rams and Goff come out from the get go and suck like they sometimes do, and Cam's keeping them in the game by not making any plays,  he'll make the change to Stidham then i'm on the Pats live. 

Another thing if you bet the Ram ,you better hope Aaron Donald don't knock Newton out of game ,if at that point it's still a game then i like the Pats chances not only for a cover but a SU win.

 If BB wants to put in very little experience QB instead of Cam I'm all for it against this defense.  If that is what your hoping for and your putting money on a toss up if he do well that is up to you.  I really don't care who is at QB for the pats because that doesn't worry me at all.  If their running game has a good day is the only worry.  I should have waited till today in hindsight as the line at -4.5 and but I still feel the rams should win by a TD.  GL with your pick

 Right , right , right! Question:  have you seen Stidham play?  And I’m not talking about college ball.  I’ve literally seen him play against the practice squad and I can’t even count how many pick sixes he threw....against a practice squad!  Like I said, if the Pats had any faith in him they would’ve never signed Cam.  And you honestly think Stidham is going to be the everyday starter for the Pats someday? No way in hell.  Just because you seen him throw a TD pass an the end of a game that was already over doesn’t mean anything.  His chance was this season and he blew it.  I guarantee you if Cam doesn’t play for the Pats next season they will look for someone else.  Stidham is literally their last resort if all else fails.  Not sure what you see in him but it isn’t much.  And if I’m wrong I’ll be the first to admit it.  People see the guy for one set and think he’s the next big thing.  If he is then why didn’t he beat Cam out for the starting position?  Bill said at the beginning of the season he did not know who the starter was.  Meaning he gave Stidham a chance and Stidham does what he does best.  Throw picks and lost the job to Cam.  Facts 

Stidham needs work period. He can’t be a starter in this league the way he’s playing. He needs more time on the practice field.

Stidham was always on the roster never on the practice squad have no idea what your talking about lol 

His only real chance to play was the 2019 preseason he was the best looking QB in the NFL , he put up better stats than any QB in Pats history.  

Hey when Brady got to play everyone in this town said he sucked and couldn't throw the ball, the media and fan base wanted Bledsoe back.

He's never had a week of practice with the 1st unit and a game plan for him  give him a fair chance then make judgement there's enough jerks on here .
