Been around here forever but never say anything because I am not a chest pounder and frankly I don't keep track of my record other than I know I know I am in the red over roughly 30 years of sports "investing" (glad my actual investments are better than my sports investments). I do it for entertainment and yes it has cost me for that entertainment. The point of the thread is it is really funny to me when people post a "31-17" record and then say their pick of the day is "X - 145" because they bought a point or whatever. Whether or not any of it is true, if you find yourself buying points all the time your record might be decent but your bank account can still suck. In fact, if you are a point purchaser, you better bat at least .750 or you will be in the toilet. If you include your bank balance, cool. If not, your record is meaningless. Just saying, it isn't that hard to have a decent record if you are playing the heavy favorites on the money line.
