Why doesn't anyone realize just how good the Seahawks played? You can bet your behind Peyton studied and practiced for two weeks straight, and guess what happened? The Seahawks are just that good. There's no doubt that his arm is one of the worst in the league right now, week in and week out we see it. At this age he needs time and he needs his Wr's to be open like any other quarterback. But I'm tired of people saying Peyton comes up small in big spots trying to make it an individual sport, Peyton to a large extent is at the defense's and his teammates mercy if he dosen't have time and his wr's are covered by an excellent secondary that is the difference, it's not like he's scared in the superbowl. If he played the cowboys in the superbowl he would roast them for 500 yards and 4 touchdowns and he is now great in the big one.
Point is peyton is the same guy in the superbowl as he was when the broncos beat the pats the week before (a game in which the clutch tom brady largely had no where to go with the football) the difference was an excellent seahawks defense.
If people feel the need to call peyton a choker well so be it, but it is an invalid criticism, the credit should go to the seahawks almost entirely.
If you look at Peyton's schedule this year, it was incredibly light in terms of good defense's so he rips thru those teams and then gets to the super bowl and faces a defense way better then anything he's seen and we wonder why the result different when it's obvious.
Peyton, next time you play a great defense and your getting pressure and everyones covered just throw the ball thru the seahawk defenders body's for touchdown's or sramble and run for 75 yards, if you can accomplish those 2 very impossible things, you will be viewed as "clutch"

I wouldn't call it an embarassment to manning. From start to finish it was clear that the whole broncos team was completely out-matched. Seattle played completely out of this world. I don't think there's a team in the nfl that could have won against them on sunday.
