Rough day yesterday, going 4-4 but losing my 2 big plays. Still a very nice overall week but have to hit tonight in order to hit my "pay me" threshold with my local (gonna end the week a nice winner either way, but we have a set amount to pay/get paid). With that said, I've put a LOT of thought into this game and tonight's play will be:
OVeR 54.5
I really wanted to go Green Bay, but just can't lay 13 to a team that does have a lot of offensive weapons and, somehow, is still fighting to win their division and sneak into the playoffs (especially after that embarrassment by the Saints yesterday). And although they do have a lot of offensive talent, they have very little defensive talent and I would be shocked if the packers don't score in the 30's (at least) tonight. Both sides have some cornerback issues, and overall defensive concerns, and already they both rank near the bottom of the league in total D.
Bottom line, the spread on the side has been placed perfectly IMO....I see all the value tonight being on the total, as I can easily see this being a 38-20 packers win, as much as I can see it being a 38-28 Packers win.
BOL Tonight ALL! Let's do this!!

I definitely agree with your assessment but I must say Atlanta is probably the right side. With that said the total OVER seems the safest of the 3 options. Count me in

Good luck tonight phantom. I got burnt yesterday on the over 27 in the 2nd half of the Patriots/Chargers game and it had me thinking. The one thing I noticed from teams are already assured a playoff spot such as Denver, New England, Seattle, they tend to play more conservative as the seasons winds down. I'm assuming they are playing like this to avoid any major injuries.
The Packers in the previous 2 games in the 2nd half especially the 3rd quarters have coasted their way through. 0 points against NE last weekend in the 3rd quarter and the weekend before that against Minnesota, 3 points in the 3rd.
Just food for thought.

I'm here in Green Bay and its been half rain and snow since noon. They have the field covered and pumping heat under the tarp. So when they start the game it should be good but at the end it depend how much more we get!
