See my note in NBA thread. If you want Phix to start winning again, you'll have to get rid of me. My dark and powerful wizardry, manifest by tailing Phix, has plunged him into a losing streak. Paying me to go away is your only hope to get the real, winning Phixer back

relax. theres no such thing as jinx. remember - every loss is a win for somebody else. and i went 1-1 yesterday and i am not in a "losing streak". besides, streaks and runs are for amateurs. bottom line lays within your balance. sooner you'll stop to threat sports handicapping as a children's game and take it to the pro level - sooner you\ll get the results - which i remind u are dineros in your account and not bunch of sharp written comments here, compliments or the weight of your ego.

pays to give much attention about phixers comment regarding vegas scooping huge profit on thursdays and mondays, check todays results..miami misses the cover by inexplicably missing free throws at the end of game, atlanta covers late by a point or 2 in denver, lakers hit winning shot in last seconds, not only covering but paying out +1100 to anyone "crazy" enuff to back them ML at houston(i had a measly half unit on),and of course redskins do all they can to keep muffing chances close to goal-line to let vikings away with the win and cover.i dont know a damn thing about ncaaf but see oregon got tipped up also, not sure if they were heavily backed or not.
now go check the public % bet for all those spreads, whether ya choose to believe in a "set-up" or "fix" or not be sure of one thing.....vegas was laughing all the way to the bank
now it wont always be this way for all games but is a long-time observation for mondays and now thursdays also........strange,illogical things happen in games on days were there is the feel of less hype and attention devoted to sporting events.its just like going to work on certain days wen ya dont feel "up" for it.it evens the playing field greatly for sides of lesser talent wen all the spotlight isnt shining on the over-inflated egos of the more celebrated, well known performers that are constantly backed in by the public.no-one to how off to(relatively speaking)can put a dent in performance...just a theory people, take it 4 wat its worth but it comes down to motivation and mind-state i feel.

Public was big on Oregon -10.5 and they were also on ULL last night. Stanford wins SU and Troy covered the spread.

YAH MAN. Personally, as a fan of phixers writings, I was always weary of his talks about certain days presenting certain outcomes... But now that I'm taking that into consideration- it's freaky how RIGHT the guy is... I'm still not sure what to make of it,(I'm naturally a skeptic) but he seems like he's possibly onto something

4 sure fuzzrod,i mean how wud you feel about rolling out for a monday afternoon or nite game on the road against some scrub team after coming off,for example,a marquee,high-profile,hyped home matchup versus a hated rival with all the focus of the media and full stadium of fans on a saturday or sunday afternoon??.....i think phixer leans to unders on them days also as players cant be as bothered putting in the effort to light up the scoreboard.
dont feel bad about believing in sumthing "crazy",its not just hair-brained,wild-eyed theory.i think it is based in sound psychological reasoning...but people are entitled to disagree if anyone wud like to offer a counter argument

Good points melos, good points. But with the NFL... When they play a Monday or a Thursday, it's still usually been about a week since both teams last games... And it's the only NFL game of the night, so the players have to know that most of the NFL fans are watching... So then, why would the underdog be more likely to cover? Phixer says Mondays and Thursdays are Vegas days... But what would make that so?
Even so, the results do speak for themselves, so I can't argue it at all... I'm still skeptical, but I'd like to learn more about it, as he does seem on to something.

I took it to mean that Mon and Thursday are typically thin cards, therefore your average degenerates who just HAVE to have some action all get herded into the same games like pigs going to slaughter. The concentration of bettors on a few games makes it economical for Vegas to take action on a select few games where the degens/square bettors will bite on a line that looks like a [L-word].
I don't think that means games are fixed per se, it just means lazy bettors who don't do research are easy to fool. (And that's easily 80% of the bettors out there). Any "fixing" of games that happens is likely done through the refs not the players. Refs have more to gain and less to lose and we saw that a few years ago with the NBA ref who got busted. This would be especially true in football where refs have much more leverage to influence a game than any player does.
How wide spread is fixing? Who knows. We do know that it happens on occasion but how often is anyone's guess.

I've been reading this thread with interest and have liked alot of Phixers picks and think he has been greatly unlucky with alot of his losers.. But anyone that suggests that the result of an NFL match is determined by what people have backed in Vegas.. Is simply delusional!

I can't argue with your record, and like I said earlier, you have been more than slightly unlucky in more than one game this year..
But.. I have suffered more than my fair share of bad beats myself, including the Green Bay-Seattle game last year, and the safety at the end San Fran-Seattle game last year.. both, heart wrenching..
BUT.. It's just not possible, the NFL is huge in it's own right. Vegas does not decide it's results!
I'm not hating on you bud, I honestly hope you (and your followers) win.... But I'm not buying in!
