I don't understand why all the talk on this thread is mainly about niners, bills and or ravens to the big show? What about Tampa Jacksonville or even Cincinnati and Detroit for what it's worth. I think one of the last four teams mentioned may indeed surprise and I am surprised no talk or posters like these more than capable teams.

Let’s be honest here.. the most complete teams are:
San Francisco 49ers
Baltimore Ravens
next tier:
Kansas City Chiefs- Offensive issues.. the wide receivers are 2nd and 3rd string and Kelce lost a step and his hands.. Mahomes is not seeing the field like he has in the past offense is is mediocre and the defense is overrated
Philadelphia Eagles - issues on both sides of the ball especially defense.. overrated just like Hurts (hurts had a good year just like Daniel jones did) he’s the same Alabama player can make good throws here and there but mostly he’s a runner when forced to throw more than usual he’s inconsistent
Miami Dolphins- issues with defense.. without Tyreek this team is incapable of generating dominant offense.. Tua with pressure down the middle panics
Dallas Cowboys- Dak & McCarthy simply overrated every year
Detroit Lions-defensive issues.. indoor outdoor issues and it’s late in the season this team needed homefield
Next tier:
Cleveland Browns-banged up & Flacco will eventually stumble against better defensive teams he is a statue
Jacksonville Jaguars- I have been saying this for a while Trevor Lawrence is good but rated too high (fumble issues) they also run the same dumb plays short passes to the outside left or right to Etienne way too much..
Houston Texans- they are over achieving they will be a good team next few seasons this is not there year..banged up
Indianapolis Colts- defense is Terrible
Cincinnati Bengals- chase out now burrow out they won’t do anything
Tampa bay Buccaneers - baker is playing well but there run game to me is not good enough if they are the front runners in this division it doesn’t say much
Buffalo Bills- lost too many games early they probably won’t make the playoffs but if they do they will enter emotionally drained and will stumble
I will probably be completely wrong in the end but these are my 2cents
NFC wins the Super Bowl this year because AFC looks weak to me
Next Tier does not matter right now
Winning isn’t everything.. It’s the Only thing.

Look up those Packers and Giants WC teams that won 3 straight road playoff games then SB....they weren't winning 2 road games (much less 1) to finish off the regular season. If the Bills are going to win the SB this year then they need to lose one of their final 2 regular season games (still make the playoffs obviously) OR get a home game in Divisional or Championship round if they are going to win the title. The historical odds are STACKED against them.
And that ALL means absolute hot garbage. Bills have a solid chance. They were 40/1 to win the AFC 3 weeks ago sitting on their bye at 6-6. Now look at the odds. And the folks flirting with PHILLY is a joke. Hurts is a Overrated. He's a glorified TEBOW who throws a little bit better. Man can't make a read if his life depended on it. The Philadelphia players are calling the fans broke & stupid Jalen says the team isn't committed, they rely on the Tush Push in crucial moments and STILL can't get the job done. The team is below average and I've been saying it for months. Trouble in Philly for YEARS to come. Jalen can't even make a decision off the field without a Woman's approval. He has Women run all his finances, he's agents are women. That's totally irrelevant to his play but I find it pathetic.

I think Philla will take it. They are taking their foot off the pedal so they can dodge certain teams once come playoff times. Ive seen this strategy before. Play enough to win or lose but important thing is to keep your team healthy.
This coming from a whiner's homer but I'm a fan of money first. I still loved it when our fans are showing their team spirits in public for them whiners. That includes them band wagon fans too. There's a lot of them here especially for the golden state warriors when they are hot news.

Hey everyone 4 days until my self ban ends. I want to thank everyone for telling me to take more than a month off it’s cleared my head and I no longer have the urge to waste money on meaningless games. However I feel like there is only four teams that can win the Super Bowl in my opinion 1. Ravens 2. 49ers 3. Chiefs 4. Eagles Ravens vs 49ers is my Super Bowl game and the Ravens win it all for Lamar Jackson’s first Super Bowl and taste of the Lombardi. Now if he gets injured just throw away the tickets
Ravens were my preseason middle of the pack pick in August at 18-1, but right now I feel like the Niners are probably the more complete team.

Very few teams find themselves in the situation that makes it possible to accomplish this feat. The 1980 Oakland Raiders finished the regular season with 2 road wins, then hosted the Houston Oilers in thea wild card game, winning 27-7. The Raiders then won two road playoff games followed by a Super Bowl victory. It was scheduling that prevented them from doing accmplishing this feat; not the impossibility of the task. Do you really think they would have failed to win the SB if they played the Oilers at Houston?

IDK Jimmy, I wasn't alive in 1980 to watch and evaluate that team. Merely providing history, I made an error anyway initially as the Bills only finished the season one away game, not two. I do remember the 2019/20 Tennessee Titans, who off the top of my head were the last team to finish the regular season with a road win to make the playoffs as WC team then win 2 road playoff games to make the AFCCG.
That was 3 straight road wins. They got waxed in the AFCCG that year. The cap is that the team to win the last game or last two games doesn't go on the road in the playoffs to win more than 3 straight games. Hasn't happened. Ever.
You know what team has won their last two regular season games and now has a road game this week ?? The Pittsburgh Steelers. They are 10 point dogs though so a SU loss is not gonna surprise anyone. I don't have the ATS numbers on this
Thank you America

On this same thread topic.... we haven't had a Super Bowl winner, or a SB appearance, by the team that finished the regular season ranked #1 in DVOA since the 2016 NE Patriots. In the modern NFL era (since 2000), only Tom Brady led Pats team x2 and the LOB led Seahawks have won SB as top adjusted dvoa ranked teams ('02 Buccs won as top non-adjusted). Both '13 Hawks and '02 Buccs won with #1 rated defenses.
Ravens are that #1 overall team this year. Although they have several very strong common factors of past teams to win Super Bowls:
Top 5 dvoa offense #4
Top 5 dvoa defense #1
Top 5 dvoa SOS #5
*Did not score over 500 points (in 16 game season)
Thank you America
