Go to www.NFL.com and review the play again. It clearly bounces off the ground during the up close replay. According to NFL rules, "An interception is made when a pass (forward or backward is caught by an opponent of the passer.". A catch, "is a catch if in the process of attempting to catch the ball, a player secures control of the ball prior to the ball TOUCHING THE GROUND and that control is maintained after the ball has touched the ground."
If the defender cannot control it prior to touching the ground it is not a catch. In either event it is a done deal just very surprised no officials review or Tomlin complaining. Very odd second half in general actually.
