Why?&#xA;I feel that the line is set this way for Chargers money straight up as a side spread of minus 6.5 (Less than a touchdown spread) and for six point teaser props Chargers at home - .5 (Half point)  sounds to good to be true eh? It did last week with the Bears playing the Raiders in London last week and we all know how that turned out right?&#xA;It happens here as well I say and a good opportunity here to make some extra coin so for starters for me this week so give me one full unit on&#xA;Pittsburgh &#x2B;155 M/L  (1 unit)&#xA;More plays and overall posted record to follow

Chargers are getting desperate. I have a feeling they win in blow out fashion, I know it seems unlikely but that’s what this stupid team always does (chargers fan here).

There is far too much spread action on any one game for the oddsmakers to consider 6pt teasers when making a line. I wouldn’t look at a game in London with the favorite starting its backup QB as a measuring stick of how to bet games with similar spreads in the future.

There is a huge disparity between quality backups and untested 3rd string QB’s. I just refuse to take a 3rd stringer, on the road, in primetime to win SU. I think you are lighting money on fire, but BOL to you.

Chargers -6 is my top play this Sunday. I wasn't surprised when Mason Rudolph came in and played well - he was excellent in college and played in the Big12 where it seems all the top passers are coming out of, and Big Ben had been trending downward anyway.

I'll be absolutely shocked if this 3rd stringer from Samford can do anything in an NFL road game. Chargers just need to stop fumbling in the red zone and they'll be fine. The Steelers lost Washington as well, it's just a decimated team, and now they have to go back to the starting CB they benched as well due to injury..

Not sure why someone is saying the Chargers D is banged up, only Ingram didn't practice.

This has nothing to do with betting, but I would take Steelers WR&#x27;s in Fantasy if you have PPR.  Hodges throws often and throws short, so you can rack up the points!

I read your writeup and I could not agree more. After being blownout opening day by New England, Pitts has played well even though mostly in losing efforts. The Pitts&#x27; D seems to be for real and of course the big question is if Hodges can continue playing well, it is different getting thrown in,  in relief, than it is to start the game. He sure got a lot of practice slinging the ball at Samford. He broke most of Steve McNair&#x27;s passing records. With #2 RB out (Samuels), it will be Benny Snell&#x27;s time to shine. Looks like Nelson (starting corner) is injured for Pitts and will be replaced by Artie Burns...which is . BOL

The Steelers are awful on the left coast. There's no bigger choker in the NFL than the Chargers but I can't take the Steelers here either.

Gun to head the only way I'd play this is Chargers in a teaser, or a live total.

What is one thing the Steelers predicate thier Defense on? The Blitz and designed blitz schemes. What is one thing Phillip Rivers does well? You guessed it picking Up the blitz. His completion % yards and QB ratings is pretty rediculous when facing the blitz. Steelers came off a battle with their biggest rivalry game and historically play bad after facing Ravens also losing the way they did in OT is a little demoralizing. Now Hodges gets his first start on the road vs a desperate Chargers team. I would lay the points!

Pitts sacked a very mobile Lamar Jackson 5x last week and Rivers is like a life size figurine in Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum...no doubt the secondary will miss Nelson but since the arrival of Fitzpatrick from Miami, that Pitts' secondary is not the swiss cheese that it once was.

Rivers is a wily vet who can beat the blitz but he will not have an easy go of it like so many think. His starting center Pouncey is out and was put on IR. The Chargers are also missing a safety and a few other pieces...the crowd might be made up of Steeler fans so it might be like a home game for them.

The Duck looks like a gamer to me...Pitts is on their 3rd QB and the backup this week is Paxton Lynch just in case he goes down. Quack quack...
