Playoff Choke time is here again for the Eagles?

Well guys the Eagles are back in the playoffs again in the worst possible role that they could be in as a home favorite.This franchise has never won anything except the loudmouth hype awards that their fans and blind loyalist followers continue to believe in. This by even an Eagle fans perspective is one of the modern era alltime choke teams led by the same clueless coach and ownership that has failed time and time again.Does anyone dare put their cash faith on these chokers again?Even if they can beat GBay in my opinion its goodbye sooner than later.Opinions out there?

they lose this week. they are limping into the playoffs and Vick's luster seems to have worn off. Rodgers was so-so last week but this week he will light up the score board

To me its either GBay or pass the game. Eat a dick Vick can't read a blitz and wants to run first before reading the field.Won't work against Clay Matthews and the defense.

Unfortunately i have to agree with you, as an Eagles fan im dreading Sunday and in a way looking forward to it heres how i see it from an Eagles fan point of view:-

A) We win and its hooray the Vick story may take us to a Super Bowl because the NFL loves a Cinderella story.

B) We get beat and save ourself the Heartache because this team needs major changes especially to the defensive side, our defense is awful against the pass they can stop the run occasionally but thats it we need changes on the Defense and Offensively we need a veteran WR, DJ and Mack Daddy are good but they are big play guys, we need a Reggie Wayne or Deion Branch a guy that will move the chains on 3rd and 8.

DeSean you have to look at like this IMO.There should not be any heartache involved because deep down you have to realize that they are not good enough to win the SBowl and as you said that swiss cheese defense will get shredded by the majority of the serious contenders.So then you ask well maybe the Eagles can outscore the opponent?Don't think that will work in the playoffs but we shall see.Best of luck my friend.

As long as Andy Reid is there and keep drafting athletes and not football players the Eagles wont win anything

Coworker is a bigggg Packers fan.  He's really questioning whether they against the Eagles.  He thinks the Packers are going to blitz like every down and Vick is going to be scrambling for first down after first down.  He also doesn't think the Packers will much going on offense.

The Packers have not looked good for much of the season.  They can't run the ball, and while I'm a big Rodgers fan he can only do so much.  They couldn't muster any points last week until the end of the 3rd quarter against a team that really didn't have much to play for.  A few weeks back they were held to 3 points by Detroit. 

Meanwhile, Andy Reid will come up with a plan to address the blitzes -- stressing hot reads and dump-offs to the backs should do the trick.  They basically are coming out of a bye, too, having rested many of their key players last week against Dallas.  I agree that they'll probably lose in the divisional round, but I say they find a way to win this week.

this has to be the best offense the eagles have had under reid...if the defense plays at least halfway decent i see no reason y the eagles cant get to the super bowl this season

they got smoked by Dallas DUE to Losing thier starting CENTER and Guard on THE O line week before they played Dallas

Andy Reid, the fat boy may well be 3-0 at home in first round games,  but I remember how bad they looked as favorites against an underwhelming Tampa Bay team in the NFC championship game and many other championship games until they beat Michael Vick and Atlanta.  Their NFC championship record under Reid has to be terrible.  Maybe the change from Donovan to Vick will help.  They have the talent like beating the Giants and then losing to AZ for the NFC I think it was, but realistically I really don't know how far they can go.  All I know is that they can stretch the field, sooner or later they will hurt you.

I agree, philly finds a way to win and cover this week, then go upset dirty birds. May have a hard time with N.O. if they beat the Bears but will beat the Bears if they go to Chicago

The Eagles lost 3 playoff games they were supposed to win in the last 11 years (Arizona, Carolina, Tampa Bay 2002) out of 18 total playoff games under Andy Reid. Not sure what this thread is about.

maybe you could argue that the Saints would be #4. The Eagles were the lower seed with high expectations. It could go either way. Anyhow, 4 out of 18 total games isn't bad. This thread is an exaggeration. Just because you lost doesn't mean you choked.
