Playoff game between the Steelers and Bills in Buffalo could be moved to CLEVELAND if bad weather prompts a state of emergency to be declared in Western New York
On Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for much of Western New York, including Orchard Park where the Bills play their home games.
It is in effect from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning and states over seven inches of snow are possible over the weekend, with winds possibly reaching 60mph. Of course Cleveland has low temps and high winds also.

The Buffalo area is expected to be leveled with a winter storm that could cause a state of emergency to be declared for western New York. Despite this possibility, the league said there is no truth to the report that circulated on Thursday that the game could be moved to Ohio.
Despite the difficult travel conditions that are expected in the Buffalo area, moving the game within two days of kickoff would be a logistical headache for the NFL. So don’t expect the game to be played anywhere other than in Orchard Park this Sunday.

I do love a good snow game as a Buffalo native and fan. I dont love the winds though. My sisters house got messed up, they had gusts of 90mph on the shores of lake ontario, lost a bunch of siding.
I cant bet this game. With the conditions its too likely to be an ugly 14-7 game or something like that. How do you lay 9.5 w the bills especially in these conditions?

Yeah, I have a feeling that this game will be chaotic but basically favors the Steelers in these Siberian conditions on paper. I think that the Steelers can run on that, at times, soft Bills' run D. Running backs Harris and Warren combined for over 1800 yards on the ground and they compliment each other (raw power/shifty speed) very well and they can wear down a defense.
The loss of Watt doesn't keep me from betting them as they will start Golden, and the sensational rookie Herbig will spell both him and Highsmith on the edges. What gives me pause is that sucky Steeler punter. Presley Harvin has shanked many punts this year at the most inopportune times.
Also with these strong Buffalo winds, his drop motion from hand to foot is so wide there is a chance that in a wind gust he could whiff the punt. In a game that is potentially as close as this one is, a blunder like that could make all of the difference for a cover. Harvin has been recently quoted as saying he won't change his fundamentals, the guy is a dope and should be replaced by Brad Wing who is on their practice squad. He costs them big time in field position almost every game but will Tomlin take action?

Perhaps the Bills will remember what happened last year when Cincy came to town and their offensive line absolutely man handled that Bills run defense, going for over 170 yards rushing at 5.1 yards per clip.... That was embarrassing for them to go out like that at home as the #2 seed. Could it happen again....

Looking like a double middle teaser game for me.... Buffalo -2.5 & U42 Steelers +16.5 (or 17 if available) & U42 Looks like a 10-7 or 14-10 kinda game....
Unless if there are massive turnovers, I totally agree with you.
