No write up really necessary here.
I handicapped this at 14.5 for SF.
To the bank gentleman.
We see this every season. A team vastly exceeds expectations in the earlygoing, largely flourishing in the underdog role.
Then, that surprise team instead becomes overvalued and begins giving too many points. Teams that excel as underdogs often do make good favorites.
I'll be on Cleveland against one of the most inflated spreads of the season.

Cle or no play for me here.

To be fair those are two different situations. In the 1st, they were on the road against a team that was in the NFC championship last year. At that point, they were thought to just be stumbling out of the gate.
Here they are at home against a team that managed to score 6 points against seattles D last week while being at home.
The 49ers are a top rushing team and have yet to give up 100 yards or a rushing TD. And we aren't even sure if Hillis will play.
They are two totally different situations.
The 49ers were able to confuse Josh Freeman at the Stick a few weeks ago and I have no doubt they can handle Colt Mccoy in the same fashion. How much they score depends on their Defense and Special Teams which has been setting them up in managable scoring situations.

This is 1 of my favorite pk this week. For all those that back CLE take a look at who they beat? Lowly IND, MIA and SEA (with a backup)????? Now look at who SF beat on the road and how they play at home. GL with backing the Brown! I already lock this in at -9 BIG!

I was going to say how they don't know how to score, when I remembered they put up 48 vs. a 10-6 Buc club, and 25 on the road to a previously unbeaten Lions club.
Their kicking and return teams have truly been special, and they should get Braylon Edwards back. Crabtree tied a career high in receptions last week. All systems are go.

Eagles lost 1st round to the Packers who beat the Bears in the NFC Championship. But yes valid point, these situations are totally different

Sometimes the most obvious plays or the ones that jump out at you, can also be the worst plays to make.
This is unfamiliar territory for the Niners to be favoured by 9 or more points. Now they are the public darling like Detroit was until they burst recently.
In the NFL 9 points is a lot under most circumstances. Cleveland or no play for me. I would rather be on the plus side of the points on this one if I decide to pull the trigger at all.

I agree with you Spearing ! I am going big on the San Fran this weekend. It's always worth listening to the devils advocate and betters on the other side however i just dont buy in to what they are selling. In this game I beleive the Niners win by double digits ! Cleveland has played a weak scheduale and beaten no one on the road ! San Fran is coming off a bye and I think Harbaugh has this team ready for a big win ! The Niners defense should easily control Mccoy and his offense. While the Browns Defense will have problems with the running attack lead by a healthy Gore. Look for A Smith to have a nice game ! Barring turnovers or special team problems I see this game score to be...
Cleveland 10
SF 28
I have taking SF - 8 -120
Good Luck Spearing24 !!!

In addition to what I wrote earlier, the direction of the line should tell you quite a bit about this game.
Sharp action is on Cleveland. And a lot of it. Overwhelming public support for SF and the line drops 2 points by Wednesday.
