People assume the Patriots, when caught recording the Jets in 2007, that they were doing it for years.
Of course they were, BUT IT WASN'T AGAINST THE RULES. That is factual. It's not opinion, factual.
In 2006...Yes, 2006, the NFL sent a memo to all 32 teams announcing it was now against the rules to record the other team's coaches/signals/whatever from the stands. The following season, in the first game, they were caught.
That means it was NOT against NFL rules for any of their 3 Super Bowl Titles.
That means there was just 1 full season, 2006, when it WAS against the rules & the case could be made that they were probably doing it then still. What happened in 2006? They finished 12-4, won the East by 2 games over the Jets. They defeated the Jets in the Wild Card game 37-16, defeated the #1 seed Chargers 24-21 & lost the AFC Championship game to Indianapolis 38-34.
There's no definitive proof that they cheated in 2006 but it's the ONLY year where it was against the rules & they had not been caught cheating yet. That is the ONLY year you can look down on.
Hope that clears up SpyGate for some of you mouth breathers.

Right, and its "from the stands" that really matters too. It wasn't illegal to tape, the rule change was just for the location, which means it was a really small violation. That of course go WAY overblown because some losers have to cry and whine about everything.

So if the law says it is illegal to rape a woman but does not specify raping a small child. When someone rapes a small child it's ok because it's not a law. Get out of here with your bs bias banter.
