Let's take a look at Flacco's performance in his postseason career. Maybe its his performance that we should be talking about. He benefitted from 5 turnovers last week and won big at KC throwing 2 TD's with no ints.

Prior to that game his career playoff numbers in three NFL seasons are:

3-2, with one TD and 6 Ints.

His worst playoff nightmare was the AFC championship game of the 08-09 season where the Ravens fell to the Steelers 23-14 at Heinz field. The key play of the game was a 40 yard INT return for a TD from Troy Polamalu with 4 min and change left in the fourth.

Flacco's numbers in that game:

13-30 for 141 yards 0 TD's 3 INTs

Looking at his splits another concern if I'm a Ravens backer is that he has 8 fumbles in 6 career starts vs. the Steelers. So in addition to the picks, he's put the ball on the ground at least once per game.

where are they at 3.5 im waiting for my site to move to 3.5. My philosophy is that at 3 worst i could is push, under 3 ill take ravens ml, and 3.5 ill absolutely hammer the ravens. Ed Reed may pickoff big ben thrice (thats 3 times for u uneducated folk out there)

Watch the dirty of dirtiest Sanchezessssssssss's  perform he cant even throw. NE covers by half and does not look back... They want Balt for road to the GAME.

Hines Ward says in an interview today this game will be very close and someone will be up 3 and the other team will need to make a play late.  I'll trust him on the importance of the hook rather than listen to some of the idiots here.  And, that doesnt mean this game will end 3, but if you cant see the importance of it in this game, you are blind.

And where can you get the hook for free?

It came out at +3.5 -105 and it is now +3.5 -116 at Pinny.  If you are not betting peanuts, that matters.

And, people can like Pitt.  The only people I'm referring to are those saying that if I like Baltimore to win why would the half point matter

Pitt fan and agree.. Would not touch this game with anything over 3.. That being said Pitt is hitting its stride on offense the last month getting better every week.. Should be a good one.. Sanders (wr) is a wild card for Pitt.. Unknown unlike Wallace but smooth for a rook.. Bens fav target as of late.. Kid gets open and has sweet hands.. GL..

The Ravens could have easily milked out the Steelers for the AFC North...had the Steelers not have gotten lucky in their wins to the Falcons (OT win), Dolphins (terrible goal line call), and bills (dropped td pass in ot) ..... lets not forget about the number of games the Ravens lost this season they easily could have one...They had you beat the entire game in Baltimore but shit the bed after leading them for 3 quarters....will you honestly sit there on Saturday and say..."Lets go Steelers, the Ravens will mess up" as your one conviction that the Steelers will win. 

The better teams offensively and defensively is the Ravens.

QB - Roth because of his playmaking ability, but tie because Flacco has better recieving core
RB - Steelers because of thier Oline advantage
WR - Ravens because they have far more weapons which helps out Flacco and gives the QB matchup a tie
O line - Steelers have the edge, because the Ravens injuries
D line - Ravens by far, the better run stopping team and pressure to the QB with their inside and outside pressure
LB - Ravens - Ray Lewis will probably die after this game after the plays he make
CB - tie - neither team is that strong both teams will make plays by the pass in this game
Special Teams - Ravens - better punter and kicker...returner game slight edge to Steelers.

Roth against the ravens defense is not proven at all, clearly from their recent matchup and the Steeler defense against a sound Ravens offense will suffer

I could care less to be honest.....like Suggs' quote "We will let Pittsburgh be No. 1 because we love being the villian".   You guys winning the division is meaningless in this situation...it comes down to who will be the stronger team and you got to say the Ravens defense will be more motivated and judging from the second half of the season to current day, the Ravens D is out a higher peak right now than the Steeler D.....

The Ravens are going pound the Steelers so hard that your fans will even feel it in the stadium.....

listen i'm steelgal !  yes they are one of my favorite teams

 

ravens plus 2 1/2 points is great !

both teams had high scroinggames  last game

Steelers last two were vs cupcakes basically prcatice games

without breaking a sweat they destroyed those poor sisters

panthers on thursday night at home and with mini bye week of 3 days went to the putrid browns and as they always do even with straters yanked at 1/2 time laid another ass whooping on them 41 -9

ravens home game vs bengalsscored just enough to win the game 13 - 7 

then of course took care of a bunch kiddies IN KC 

30 - 7  slowly got laed and just shut them down for 3 qtrs putting up 27 unanswered points

now reveres the  teams sat ravens won div had same end of schedule steelers ahd 

 

steelers went to KC would we get same results ?

steelers - 3 @ KC  who would u take ?

so steelers atre weel rested played two games in 17 days

will it create rust ?

maybe slow going early but still healthy  almost 100%

BUT yor wager should be on balty +  whatever anything over 2 1/2

Shoulda woulda coulda. Both teams had many close games that could of went either way. The only time you beat us this year batch was our QB. You also lost the bengals, almost a second time, had to go to OT vs the bills just like we did, and had close games vs the brows where we demolished them. The records are what they are you cant go back nitpicking at shit like you are, because none of that matters on saturday. Also, how do they have a better WR core? Wallace has better stats than Boldin and Ward is a future hall of famer and is better than Mason. You cant honestly say the Ravens have better LB's because of ray ray because they are equal up the middle but the steelers OLB's are the best in the league.

The Ravens lost to the Bengals and should have lost to the Bills in OT.
