Lol, Flacco wil win if the WR have a big game.
I have to disagree with you on one thing Money88, Kaepernick will not be shitting his pants. Dude is confident to the bone. He will be more nervous than Flacco, but he won't be that scared. At the same time I wouldn't be suprised if he threw a couple picks. Im curious to see if the Ravens will be able to bottle up Gore because this dude is playing with a lot of confidence and pride. Whoever makes more turnovers will lose this game, thats what I believe. I hope the 49ers end some big drives on interceptions or a fumble or botched kick. It would be hilarious.

East, great thread you have brought to life. been reading your posts through 3 pages. I like what you are saying and I agree with you the books have been showing no respect for the Ravens as of yet, why change now, I think what you said about the Broncos game is relative they covered before the amazing play.
I have been on the Ravens from the Start and you can bet your behind I am not going to bail out on them because they are a dog, in fact I loved the fact that the are dogs, I figure its cause the 49ers are a better seed -
btw the line was AFC-2.5 before the championship game I think its cause they assumed the Pats would win that game and they would have to mae the Pats favorites regardless of who they played due to the action that they get,,
Good luck to you and everyone who is betting on the
Ravens

Although I had a write up for this game, I wanted to make my post and see what people thought before I posted it. I didn't see many good points that anyone made. Only heard that I was a 49er hater or I don't know what I'm talking about. First and foremost, I want to state that I picked the Ravens to win the AFC because I really believed that they would win the AFC and at +1025 with their first game at home where I knew they would beat the Colts, I had no problem with it. Not only did I like the Ravens as a team, but Ray Lewis saying that he would retire added a lot to the teams confidence and chemistry. As I have played sports and been around sports for all of my life, I truly believe that chemistry has a large part to do with winning big games. The SF Giants showed that both years they won the World Series. The Ravens had been together for a while and have been through a lot this season. Just like last year they had their struggles on the road and injuries, but they fought through no matter what. Losing Lewis, Suggs, and Reed for moments in the season is extremely hard to over come. The Ravens defense has given up 4 touchdowns the entire post season with two games being on the road and against the 4th, 5th, and 7th best passing yard wise teams in the league. With Denver and New England being the top red zone offenses. I am saying this because I believe the Ravens are focused and the hotter team, other than that it has nothing to do with this game. The 49ers beat Atlanta and Green Bay, two very good offenses, but still gave up 7 touchdowns in two games. I guess we can say that one of those touchdowns was useless by Green Bay. I am impressed that the 49ers shut down both teams in the second half to nothing, but I believe the Ravens defense has played stronger throughout the playoffs. The defense has forced 8 turnovers while the 49ers defense has forced 4 and I obviously know the Ravens played one more game but you have to remember one fumble was a botched fumble and one was Matt Ryan not being able to catch a snap. Anyways, just saying...not that impressive other than they were able to jump on the ball faster than those two bafoons.
I think the Ravens wide recivers are going to be problems for the 49ers all night long with the deep ball always being a threat. Boldin is playing at the top of his game, so the 49ers will have to put a couple people on him because he will destroy anyone one on one. The speed and ability to jump up and get the ball of Smith will be problems as well, not to mention Jones is a back up threat that could have a huge game because he will not have much attention on him. Pitta is also playing great in these playoffs and I expect him to have 4+ big catches. The 49ers defense up front will not be able to blitz much with the WR threats, but they will be able to hold their own. Ray Rice will probably not have a big game, maybe 60 yards on the ground, but that will be just enough to win this game. Pierce is good on short distance and if Rice can't get going with running the ball he will be a threat on the screen. Very good screen runner as he is extremely hard to catch since he is so small and quick. Ravens offensive line has played well for Joe Flacco and I expect them to play well against the 49ers. I still don't think Justin Smith will not have a big impact on the game as I believe he is still injured, but I do see the 49ers getting a couple of sacks on the blitz. I also believe the Flacco will probably throw his first pick of his playoffs, but hopefully it will not be a big one. I also believe the Ravens will win the turnover battle with the 49ers turning the ball over 3 times. One interception, one fumble, and one fumble on special teams or a blocked FG.
I don't understand why anyone has not spoken about the fact that Akers was one of the worst kickers in the league this year. The Ravens have not given up many touchdowns in the playoffs and I don't believe the 49ers will be able to get in the end zone as easy as they did in the past two games, which means they will kick 3 or 4 field goals if they are in this game. Not to mention the 49ers not being able to kick any field goals if they are around the 28-40 yard line which is not good at all. Teams get stuck around that range a lot and will have to either go for it on 4th down or punt the ball and hope it lands on the 5-1 yard line. I can easily see Akers missing even a 40 yard field goal with the pressure of the SuperBowl and the fact that he sucks and will be released at the end of the year unless maybe he has the greatest game of his life. The Ravens on the other hand will kick long field goals with Tucker especially since they are playing in a dome. This is a large factor of the game because any points are huge especially in the SuperBowl. You see how the Seahawks missing opportunities on two fieldgoals lost them the game.
The only three problems for the Ravens; Kaepernick running and the strength and will of Frank Gore. And on defense the talent and quickness of Aldon Smith. I don't know how much Kaepernick will run the ball because he really didn't do garbage against the Falcons running wise. The Ravens are 50 times better than that defense with many veterans. I believe they are practicing for everything Kaepernick will be bringing to the table. If the Ravens can stop Frank Gore from reaching 80 yards, I think the Ravens chances of winning is extremely high. Ray Lewis will have a huge impact on this game just by being on the field and reading defenses. His presence on the sideline while the offense is on the field will be a huge factor. As good as Jim Harbaugh is at adjusting at game time, I believe John Harbaugh is just as good if not better.
My prediction:
24-20 Ravens win the game.

East Oakland - you're a loser, you make loser picks, and you have clearly spent too much time on this thread talking a bunch of nonsense. i sure hope u show up after the big game but i'm sure u will be crying in ur beer somewhere like most loser raider fans.
ur team is a joke and ur perception of football is twisted. i dont see neither changing in the near future. its jokers like u that make vegas rich. and if u knew anything about how casinos get rich, then u would know that public money is on ravens so once again - they're looking at a nice payday from clones like u.....
