Record vs Playoff Teams

Here are all the Playoff team records vs other playoff teams. These are SU records, not ATS. I didn't count the KC loss to DEN. Meaningless game.

I always find these records useful in post season capping. It's Playoff time. I don't care how many times you beat CHI, LV, OR NE. I wanna see how you do against other playoff teams.

 Good info here...I also wanted to say the Ravens have played 10 games against Playoff teams and have scored 2.82 points per drive and that's the best mark in the League against Playoff teams plus they have allowed 1.69 points per drive and that's also the best mark in the League as well  

Of course they have a history of Playoff failure and Historically speaking they have had some very bad offensive performances in the Playoffs but will see what happens this time around 

In general, this is helpful. But I look at a team like the Chargers and those 5 losses all have stories behind them that mitigate the results.

Yeah, KC and DET look like the conference front runners. 

The one thing the Ravens have this year they didn’t have is Derrick Henry. That dude made Lamar so much better. If the Ravens run the ball like they are suppose to and not get pass happy, they should do well. I’m thinking it’s Bills/Ravens and Chiefs/Chargers for the AFC Divisional Round and Eagles/Rams and  Lions/Washington for the NFC. 

Very useful. A lot of people are gonna take Washington next weekend based on the Bucs having trouble with the Saints. Some of these same folks will say the Chargers are a great team now and the Bucs destroyed them in LA.

Look at Washington's schedule all their wins were vs terrible teams other than Philly once on the final play. Titans, Panthers, Bengals, Falcons, Bears, Giants twice, Dallas once literally the dregs of the league and the Bengals win was when they were having their annual slow start to the season (week 2) and Panthers before they turned it around when Young came back. They lost to every playoff team they played including TB by 17 in week 1.

Cold weather is a big factor in these playoff games. The chiefs will shut down Henry in the running game  The key is hit him before he gets some traction.

Good stuff. I think it basically comes down to the top 4 on that list to get to the Super Bowl. Will one of the lower teams sneak up? Sure, possibly. that's why they play the game.

Lions game was just devastating that no PI call to end regulation was so bad 

Packers game they were so thin & it took a last minute game winning FG drive to win it for packers 

KC they were putting it all together finally then Tank
