Those hands to the face. I don't know why the refs are so bad now. It isn't just replay and slow motion. The referees just used to be better before replay and challenges. It feels like a game show now. Better yet it has become the NBA which is completely ...not fixed but manipulated by the refs for the home crowd and the superstars. Best referees are in English Premier League. VAR there is very quick and actually works when it is impossible to make a call with the human eye.
Dumbest thing I've read tonight lol. Everything you described are legit reasons the Packers aren't a good team and should have lost tonight. If the refs don't bail them out here's what you're left with...... Would have been 4th & 21 from the GB 44 with GB punting down 9 points with under 10 minutes to go. Next possession, Lions up 2, no call on PI would have made it 1st n goal Lions. Packers player gets torched and the refs don't throw the flag. Remember this game for week 17!! The Lions are a far superior team this season.
My packers did not deserve to win that game, but they did. Detroit did not play amazing either, they just capitalized off of field positioning and turnovers. Their kicker made like 3 50 yarders, they couldnt even get into the end zone most times.
As it comes to the penalites, there are bad calls every game and sometimes it hurts a team and sometimes it doesnt. This time it did but their really is no point to talk about it because it happens every game and the refs wont improve. With all this tech and replay, they will only get worse and worse as they will know the replay is their back up...
