Was going over the season win totals and see a few I like but I think the line may change a bit in my favor on a few before the season starts. However, I saw one line that almost made me orgasm at first sight.
Arizona Cardinals UNDER 7.5 wins (-102)
Are you kidding me? The Cardinals would have to go 8-8 or better to lose this bet & that record would also make them a playoff contender in a weak NFC. The Cardinals are NOT a playoff contender by any stretch of the imagination. Let's look at the schedule:
2 games vs the Rams
2 games vs the 49ers
2 games vs the Seahawks
Home vs Pittsburgh
Home vs Carolina
Home vs Detroit
Home vs Cleveland
Home vs Atlanta
Away vs Baltimore
Away vs Cincinnati
Away vs Tampa Bay
Away vs New Orleans
Away at Washington
They will not beat Pittsburgh, Carolina, Baltimore, Cincy, Tampa or New Orleans. So even if they were to go 3-3 in the division somehow, that's a 7-9 record. That's a BEST case scenario for them. They'd have to win 3 division games and beat the Skins, Lions, Browns & Falcons. I don't even think they can win 2 division games in reality.
The running game is what will kill this team. Edge is over the hill and no longer effective. Arrington is decent but not all that good just yet, he needs one more year to develop then could become a great running back. And that will make the passing game suffer.
Have you looked at this defense? It's not the least bit impressive. They have a great kicker (who is overpaid) but he won't get many chances to win a game. Add in a new coach and I just don't see this losing.
PREDICTED FINISH: 6-10, 4th in the NFC West

I agree that it is play under or nothing here. However, AZ was the only team in the NFL to finish in the top 10 on BOTH offense and defense. They suffered a ton of injuries last year and if they stay healthy, could easily win 7 games. One fluke win and your play goes down. The 7.5 looks like a tough number and I think you can find better plays, imo.
GL this year.

Every year this team is supposed to show up and be good and every year they let teams down. With a new head coach and new LT, I expect some growing pains. Malinsky's profile on covers experts is right on - they are fun to watch, but can't hold a lead (blew 2 20 points last year) because they can not run the football. An excellent fade play.

Revenge, well said. I will take a look at this, as I am starting to look at the futures for the season now. I did well last year on them by winning with Chicago and Balt. Those were easy picks to me last year!
