RIP ANTONIO BROWN

Well.well... In just one year it has gone from RIP AB in the Burgh..  to RIP from  the NFL..  Sad really...  If he never plays again he will be  broke in  less then two years..  Sad AB you could have been a star forever in the Burgh.. Talented WR one of the best ever but now a joke line..  I  am afraid the worst is to come for AB..  He will probably end up hurting himself or somebody else in the future..  Get help  Mr Big Chest before it's  to late..  RIP AB..

Broke? Hard to imagine. Guy was making max money for a long time. He'll be back too.

The prodigal son may yet find redemption and salvation...or his inner demons will destroy him. The NFL will forgive many things but if an owner's pecadillos (Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida) are made fun of in the public eye by a player, then that will doom any chance to get back in the league IMO. Posting photos of that womans children on social media was a bridge too far. That was the red line and in his insanity, he crossed it. 

Those running the show enabled him instead of showing him some tough love early on...Pittsburgh has ownership that has no wisdom...Art Bourbon the 2nd. The GM and head coach looked the other way for years also. This baloney sauce must have had its effect in the locker room too...local sports' media must have been aware of this but no reporter had the stones to leak any of this to the public so in my eyes, they are complicit also. 

Missi Matthews and Labriola and others are a bunch of shills let alone the bigger network puppets who trade a paycheck for their souls (yuck)...the lot of them wouldn't make a patch on Grantland Rice's or Jim Murray's a$$. 

My boyz definitely dodged a bullet. There were rumors in the off-season about us being a favorite to acquire AB. I am so glad we passed on both him and OBJ. Shanahan/Lynch have done a great job of building a roster of unselfish guys who are team first. Imagine if AB had no targets and was relegated to blocking like Emmanuel in the Pack game, he would be actin a fool screaming at Jimmy G

So the saga has come full circle..  What a long strange trip it has been... RIP AB..   Still remember standing on the practice field at Saint Vincent College at your first summer camp while  going to school there and you just entertaining the crowd ..  Worked for years for the Steelers there and you were a special force from day one .. A unknown 6th round pick that shined brightly from day one.. Sad..  Things could have been so different..
