After last night's game, and waking up today.. I've seen enough. enough is enough..
Don't know what feels worse. Coming from behind to take the lead only to blow it(Flacco era) or having the lead for most of the game only to blow it at the end(Lamar era) and to top it off blowing the 5th blown game of the season(4 of those games were by 10 pts or more, the other game they were up by 9 but that one felt like a double digit lead too).
Ravens have been known to blow a game here and there in the past usually the most important games ie end of season or playoff game so in that respect this is nothing new from the Harbaugh regime... but I've never seen anything like this from this team before it's so frustrating the rate at which they are blowing these games it's def a franchise season record. Noticed this pattern starting last year they couldn't finish games but they were so banged up last season that it was excusable. This season isn't as bad with the injuries so there should be no excuses why they are blowing these games at a higher rate than last year with a better roster and supposedly easier strength of schedule.
I am done betting on Ravens after this season. I will let my future bets ride.. just recently put a little extra on them at 30/1 to win it all and 14/1 to win AFC before they beat the Falcons. Maybe I will make one more bet on them in the first round playoffs, but only if they're in an underdog role which they likely will be.
Other than that this is it -- it's time to separate the fandom from the betting. I think I'm one of the few who can say they had some success betting on their favorite team backing or fading (mostly backing) for about a decade but the last couple seasons seem to have run it's course . Although I started betting since 2010 , didn't really start getting hardcore until 2013. Got a Ravens Super Bowl and Lamar MVP 100/1, 50/1 hit out of it. It was a fun ride but it's time to move on as a bettor. Still will rep the Ravens always but perhaps my hardcore years are over. Prioritizing health to start off the New Year
