you could also say the opposite, that the win gave them a lot of confidence knowing they can play with anyone and if they are to fall behind that they have the ability to come back

I like the Colts

I like Denver if they play the way they can and don't come out playing conservatively. If I put my money on them and they comeout playing safe I'll be pissed.

Lean Carolina. I like it better at +2 then a pick, but with that # whats the dif? lol  I hope Carolina's offense doesn't sputter like I've seen many times this yr. A few of thier wins were lucky in my oppinion.

Not liking the Colts. Tommy should be able to exploit those holes the the Colts secondary. Also, giving Belichek an extra week to prepare mixed with the Colts terrible road performances this year leaves me thinking Luck lays an egg.....NE 31 Colts 17

The Colts had some bad losses on the road but they also had some great wins on the road which, most would agree, makes for a pretty inconsistent team. The Colts totally dominated the 49ers at the Stick, 27-7 and they beat the Chiefs as a +7 point dog, 23-7 at Arrowhead. Lets not forget the home wins against Denver and Seattle. In any case, as a gambler, we should always have a short memory so maybe I need to heed my own advice. Afterall, the regular season no longer means anything, right? I'm certainly not taking the Colts because I think Brady and Belicheck get shut down. I'm simply taking the Colts because I think they can match New England, score for score. What part of New Englands defense do you think will keep the Colts from matching scores and covering the spread? I think one of the biggest advantages New England has held for so long besides the fact that Brady is under center is the psychological component. However, Luck is just the guy I want holding my money when it comes to a 1 game playoff while getting 7.5, to boot. The guy is a competitor....a very good competitor. He reads coverages well, his completion percentage is excellent and he is usually money on 3rd down. As good as Belichek is along with the time he's had to prepare, I'm not sure theyres anything he can do to prevent Indy from scoring. Maybe, you're right. Perhaps, NE does score 31. I just happen to think Indy scores that much or more......depending on the weather, of course. Good luck this weekend

Sukks to be against big guy, maybe a different story next week. And, yeah, Swine is absolutely a beast this season. It isnt the old and sick that are dying, its the young that were otherwise healthy. Well, the last time these teams played, it was 10-9 so, apparently, both offenses sputtered. 49ers backers will argue that SF wasn't healthy during that game. Fair enough. They'll get their opportunity for redemption with a complete team this weekend. However, the 49ers offensive line WAS healthy when Kappaernick was sacked 6 times and it's Carolina's defensive line that has swayed me in this matchup. I like Carolina's defensive line and I believe Cam Newton remains upright. Everyone talks about Kapps ability to run but what about Newton? The dude is a LB playing QB who also gains 40 yds in one stride....at least thats what it seems like any time I bet against the Gazelle. I firmly believe in Carolina this weekend.

I believe the line is overinflated and the Saints are the correct play. I'm supposed to have a short memory but I just cant seem to get the last game these teams played against each other out of my head. I won't bet against Brees but the Seahawks arent flukey, theyre the real deal. Im just going to enjoy the game

I have the Panthers plus 2 myself.. When it comes to the Chargers I took plus 10 here... The Chargers have not lost a game  by more then 10 points this season and I think they can get the cover here as well..Also if you look at the Broncos schedule they didn't blowout any good teams.( I know they killed Philly in week 4 but that was with A different team especially with Vick starting over Foles) 
Just think chargers find a way to cover and love the way the rookie Keenan Allen is playing for them.

I really like the Chargers and I had a chance to watch Allan up here in Berkeley and the guy is amazing. I wish the Chargers were playing any team other than the Broncos so they could make a serious run. I just dont think we will see a repeat of the Chargers last visit to Denver but if we do, Ill be pulling for SD next week with you
