ill go against the rookie qb in the playoffs on his 2nd straight road game almost anytime. Flacco had a good season for a rookie standard, but nothing too impressive for a playoff qb, 14 td 12 ints in the regular season. didn't have a good game last week, but was good enough to beat the worst team to make the playoffs, look for him to have 2+ ints. these ravens are overvalued after a blowout win to a flukey dolphin team, although i admire what the phins did this seasoned. Fisher's game plan will prevent Tenn. from turning it over often, and thats baltimores only chance Prediction : Titans 23 Baltimore 9
Carolina/zona under 49 and carolina -9.5 - both small plays
original lean was over, after looking into it turned to the over. think carolina's defense will be able to stop them, and their offense will run the ball around 40 times. final score prediction something like 31-13 panthers

Flacco's stats are better then Collins and Ravens defense is better also. The Ravens dominated the last game they played and they are better in just about every category.

if the titans played miami twice, cinci twice, and the browns twice, their stats would be better. flacco has thrown 14 tds to 12 ints, collins has 12 tds to 7 ints. Tenn is better at the RB position, the TE position, has the better OL, better DL, ravens have the better LB's, thats about it scotty. not too mention rookie coach and qb vs. experienced collins and long known well coach Fisher

Not trying to argue Landis, just trying to figure this out. If you add the stats for regular season games the teams that Tenn played are a combined 86 wins to 105 loss. The Ravens opponents were a combined 112-94. Baltimore beat Houston large in Houston and took Pitt to the wire as well. They are a pretty stiff road team and i see this as a coin flip game. However being the degenerate I am I need to pick one as no college games left and I cant stand bball.

We will see tomorrow but don't say I did not tell you when you "Large" play loses. Our defense will win this game, just like last week.

I guess Landis forgot to bring that to his own thread

good numbers, all very close, i see one advantage for tenn. they don't commit as many penalties, point differential is less than a ppg and the yardage is 2 ypg. i'm not doubting the ravens defense, i in fact believe that they have the best defense in the league, edging out pitts because of ed reed. but the experience at qb will be the difference here, collins makes very few mistakes, and this game will come down to which qb makes more mistakes, i'll fade the rookie qb on a short week against a well rested stout defense anytime.
to Scotty i'm obviously not going to list everything going against me, i'll focus on the one thing that will hurt me the most, and thats if collins makes costly ints which he won't, you don't need to come tell me you told me so, i've lost a ton of games before and i'll lose a ton more, it's part of gambling. i do know wether i win or not i'm collecting due to my gators. and i should have ignored you when you said "our defense will win again this week" homer.

agree this could favor into the panthers run game, my one worry tho is in these rainy games it makes it tougher on DB's, the WR's already know where they are going so it's a bigger advantage.
