Saving my remaining bank for a chase parlay on Week 1. 3 games. 2 picked, opinions please.

Question

Betting my remaining $230 after losing 1500$ on big bets ruining my whole baseball season. I want to make that money back with this chase parlay. Stupid, I know, I know. But it's getting done. I'd rather lose this $230 and drop betting for a bit or get my cash back.

I'm 99.9% locked in on Detroit Lions ML 2.15 and Eagles -4.5 1.91

Kicking around the idea of a 3 or 4 teamer.

Other games I like are TEN ML 2.45, PIT +3.5 (ATL SPR) 1.68, ATL -3 1.91, DEN -3 1.87

I'm picking one or two of these games and throwing the whole 230 on it that'll get me over 2000 back in the roll and set up nicely for NFL and NHL. More than likely i'll just make it worse and lose the roll but any opinions are welcome I really want to work this out thoroughly before I lock in as I want this one bad.

Last thing you want to do is parlaying ...

Take one team that you really like and bet on it.
If you like 2 teams, split the pot and bet them evenly.

Betting is a marathon and it really comes down to how you manage your money.

Solid advice i&#x27;ve yet to be able to fully follow. I&#x27;m taking this last stab at a parlay to get my roll back and then force myself to bet single games with about 4% of my roll at stake per bet.Knowing that you are right I am still making a 3 gamer for week 1 and if I win, great, i&#x27;ll be smart from then on.I can&#x27;t get back what I had betting single games right now though.Next deposit, if needed, will start with a clean slate. Right now I want that friggin money back.

The more i think about this frigging bet I keep changing it but at the moment i'm thinking it's going to be DET ML with TEN ML just the two of them.

$230 wins a shade over $1200

You guys have any favourites? NFL is more a "for fun" sport for me. Hockey is my main one I just want to have a good bankroll going by the time it starts October 6th.

Tennessee and Detroit look like great value with very good chances of winning to me. Any reasons these shouldn't be played? Any others that should?

I&#x27;m feeling like I shouldn&#x27;t wait much longer to make this but i&#x27;m still in the deciding phase. I want to be as sure as I can be.Detroit went from 2.15 to 2.05 already and Tennessee from 2.45 to 2.40

Go with Detroit, but stay the fuk away from the Eagles week 1. Either go with the Rams, Jets, or Dolphins for your 2nd play.

No love for the Titans pick Steve?I was thinking about the Jets but Dallas just screams potential upset to me.Dolphins i&#x27;m just not sure they can keep up with NE. Looking very solid.The Philly game i&#x27;ve been scared off of entirely. Not going to touch it either way because i&#x27;d kick my own ass if PHI covered and I changed my mind after 99.9 certainty to backing the Rams in my bet.

I would look towards, NE -7, DET looks real good and possibly SEA, &#x2B;5.5 the niners are really bad this year and alex smith is junk. Just my advice let me know what you end up doing. Trust me I know all too well the danger of the parlay.

I also agree to stay away from the Eagles, there is a big weakness in the Eagles red zone defense.
People are over looking this because of the Eagles hype.

I don't like the Titans play, I have no idea how Hasselback will play with the Titans starting receivers in all 4 quarters.

Raven's Joe Flacco as a starter has never defeated Steeler's Big Ben as a starter for the past 3 seasons.

The Broncos have never lost the first home game for 13 seasons, more or less.

Still deciding between 2-3 games but it will be a $230 dollar bet. Still havent wasted it. I really want to get back to a grand a play smart, 4% of my roll or so per play. All depends on this winning though.

Really liking Pittsburgh and Detroit.

don&#x27;t let people who have no clue make you lose your last $230 thats first.....but I know exactly where u are wanting ur money back I blew $2500 this baseball season and my last bet was a $500 dollar parlay that went opposite of what i bet.   Anyway always go with your gut, but remember that there was a lockout and pre season is no judge.     I was really considering the Patriots and Texans though, I think those are solid bets.....or do some cross parlay action get a strong baseball college football and nfl play

Detroit odds keep dropping. Was at 2.20 all the way down to 2.00 now at SI.

Maybe I should have made this bet earlier but i'm waiting til i'm damn sure and it might not be until thursday night or later depending on whether I want to take Saints +4 or not.

I am a little worried about seemingly many people being on Detroit as well though.

More unpopular picks that I personally do really like would be PIT, TEN, SEA, something like that parlayed. Something to keep in my mind. I gotta win this bad boy. Sucks that Seattle went down to +5.5.

my opinion is the falcons -2 1/2, the chargers-vikings over 41 1/2 and, I know its college but imo the best play on the weekend board south carolina -3

Someone second me or correct me...&#xD;&#xA;There was a stat going around the last few seasons that went something like this:&#xD;&#xA;On a given week, the game with the highest point total almost always kicks the over...and the game with the lowest point total, hardly ever gets in the endzone.&#xD;&#xA;Can someone confirm.deny this?

How about the Over in PHI/STL.  Phily has a terrible D and a good O, The Rams will score, I see that game going over easily.
