Perfect spot for SD to come out big and they have shown to do this in the past few years. Denver has been playing great but I am quite sure they can't keep this pace for 16 games! Also, the guys who set the lines in Vegas are pretty smart. 2 teams heading in opposite directions yet SD is favored?
Denver has a few weaknesses which include covering good tight ends and running backs down the middle of the field. They are a good pass rushing team but Rivers is tough and has plenty of big and fast receivers to hit with quick routes. SD defense has not played well and Merriman better start producing or he stands to loose his next big contract! Denver has Brandon Marshall who will have a big game tonight but just not enough.
Its Monday nght so look for some points to be scored in this battle and SD takes it 31-23.
