It was a GB recovery, however that would have likely lead to a 14-0 1st Q lead and thats a no no for TV ratings

I always love seeing the tinfoil hats come out from homers. The AFC game literally went to 14-0 within 5 minutes of the opening kickoff (and 24-0 straight), but that doesn't really fit with your narrative.
